FK was my favourite lending platform -- easy to use and drawdown always taking place at close of auction, plus I was getting a 9% net return, better than the other 5 platforms I use. And withdrawal of spare funds (sadly, my only activity on FK now) is always processed quickly.
BUT with no new loans appearing I am beginning to lose confidence. And each time I'm told that new lending opportunities are just around the corner and then they don't appear, I lose a little more. I'll be interested to see, once a new loan request does materialise, how many lenders pitch in. The longer this goes on, the less likely I am to be one of them.

Since the takeover/push out there has been two or three new loans each one filled quite quick so the demand is still there, or was as the last one was probably about 2 months ago. Just have to wait and see what they do with it.

Is it really gone now?
I've not been able to get onto the FK website for two days from three different browsers. Chrome says "This site can't be reached" and "www.fundingknight.com unexpectedly closed the connection."
Firefox says: "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."
Is anyone else having the same problems or are you able to access the site? I've sent an email to one contact at FK but I don't know if he still works there. The other four contacts I had have all left already I think!

so- any top secret relaunch plans we need to know about?! Not looking good three of my favourite platforms FK, FE and Emoney have all pretty much all died a death. All still running smoothly on current loans but not sign of life on new loans.

I do wonder why anyone would seek to do a fresh start up now there are functioning 'shells' out there that could respawn- unless of course the killer is getting FSA accreditation which seems to be easier for newbies than established P2P outfits... as track record in not part of what FSa is interested in- just process it seems...

I've got a probably typical spread of platform investments, FC, TC, AC, SS, MT, Rebs but I keep a probably untypically large investment here in FK. I really like the user interface they created and for a mainly unsecured loan portfolio, they have IMO a very good track record. I am still an active buyer in the secondary market as the existing loans pay back and wind down.
I can see that there might be a possibility that the platform closes before the entire loan portfolio is paid off but the owners of FK took a large proportion of each loan, so I trust that the platform will be as well managed in the future as it has been in the past. Oh I sound so confident, don't I. I typed all this with crossed fingers.
