Assuming this does all happen today will the old Hull PBL54 be the first loan to ever repay exactly on time ?

I don't think big hitters will be in a hurry to leave while 12% interest is on offer. Bottom up seems the fair way to me. That way everyone who wants a bite of the cherry gets a fair bite. Why is it fair to give a small investor £77 and a big hitter £7,777? Ok fair enough, it's still 77% but the big hitter gets a fair bigger bite of the cherry.
Maybe if I was a big hitter my opinion would change, unfortualy I'm unlikely to ever be, so my opinion is unlikely to change.

There are only two 'fair' tax options .. 1) everyone pays £x in tax, regardless of what they make, maybe plus £y for the services they use. Anything above that they keep. 2) Everyone gets £x to live on, any amount above that goes to the common good. All existing tax systems are a compromise / kludge designed to get more wool with less bleating. 'Bottom up' (instead of %age) only really disadvantages the two or three VERY BHs who wanted £100k or something. The gals who wanted <£10k were going to overbid mightily on any %age allocation system (assuming they'd worked it out) and wind up close to what they wanted anyway (or even over, which is a dumb result for everyone). I'm =way= down the shallow end, and I was getting more than I wanted, to avoid the risk of getting less.

Now showing as 274 days term. That seems rather cheeky on savingstream's part -- advertise and sell one product... and deliver a different one.
