In a number of places on this forum, members have raised the question about whether interest on the receivables can be paid monthly to an investor with the capital element only being reinvested. However, I couldn't find a reply to this. Does anyone know the answer?

I don't think so at the minute, but it may be on the to do list.

This is in the to do list. And a number of clients have asked for it, so it has been scheduled for development.
In the mean time, this can be done in a manual way - contact us in the last week of the month, we can switch off auto reinvestment for you and as soon as sufficient cash has been repaid (capital or interest) we can wire the interest for the month, and switch back on Auto reinvestment.
Sorry that this is a little laborious right now...

Thanks Steve. Good to know that it is in development. A bit laborious as you say but okay as an interim solution.

It is up to #2 on the client-facing development list. This list contains major improvements which generally take 2-4 weeks each to develop, test and release.
We currently alternate between client-facing and back-office developments.
So...what does that mean...we should start coding it before the end of the year, and aim to release in January.

Steve, are you on track to implement this improvement in January? We really hope so - there are quite a few 'corner cases' to resolve. But it's under development...

Yes! It been coded, being tested and just testing the user option interface.
I'm hoping for release next week, but realistically the following week...

I'm really disappointed that it's not ready for this month. Please accept my apologies. It should be ready in April (although our lead tester has two weeks holiday booked in April) so I'll have to provide an update in a week or so.

This option is now live for all. Select 'Monthly interest withdrawal' in your investment settings.
Many thanks for your perseverance on this.
