Something new for me is every time I log in I get the deposit/withdraw screen & have to scroll up to get the the dashboard.
I've already made a deposit so surely this should now disappear?

Change to dashboard view. I don't know if it is just me (as I use an unusual browser - SeaMonkey) but roughly since the FCA related changes to the website were made, the dashboard page does not load at the top of the page. it is not a big deal but more curious as to why and wonder if it can be fixed? LW Hi This is an eternal gripe of mine from the developers who shall not be named (for fear of my blood pressure).... the CSS was not great.. The design is one of the things we are taking care of in the next few months. Sorry for this, but we are getting around to it. I will see if there is a quick fix. Regards Ablrate Thanks for your reply. Not worth risking a blood vessel over, I can easily scroll up to access the top menu. There are bigger problems in this life lol LW

I too noticed a change. Looking back at old screenshots there used to be 2 horizontal dark blue bars, one with a 'deposit' button and the other 'withdraw'. Now that section is all white the change springs out at you, although it is just cosmetic. I'm sure I will get used to it eventually. Although my dashboard is above it at the top where it has always beeen (Firefox on Win7 & Win10).

Is this what people are referring to as the view when they first log on? ablrate Page appears and then immediately moves down to this view and have to scroll up to get to top menus. Only happens on my tablet, Ok on my laptop.

Have tried clearing cache but happening on both embedded and firefox browser (which I hadnt used to test it before) Laptop Firefox still OK. Given the archiac and obsolete nature of my tablet it could well be my software/equipment so I would wait to see if anyone has had the issue resolved before tackling it again. My finger can cope with a little extra exercise.

I've just discovered, to my cost, that when buying from the SM the "Secondary Market Trade Summary" does not necessarily quote the price you will pay. The price you will pay is the best available price at the time the trade is processed through the system so, if someone cancels their offer in the time between you checking all four check boxes, hitting the execute button, and the request being received in the database then you may get a different price to the one you were quoted. A simple example: there are two offers for £100, one at 100%, one at 101%. You enter £100 and hit the buy button and you are quoted a price of 100%. If the offer at 100% cancels before your trade hits the database then you'll be charged 101%. I assume the same is true on a sell trade. Anyone else noticed this? Is this a bug or feature, and would I have recourse to ablrate ? Edit: on FS when someone has removed their offer or another buyer has beaten you to it you receive an error message - I can't remember the wording but something along the lines that the amount is not available to purchase. I guess on FS you have to purchase separately at each discount/premium whereas on ABL you can purchase from across multiple discounts/premia.

Sounds like a (predictable) consequence of the way the SM has been designed. And the longer you spend reading those 4 documents the more likely it is to happen.

It would make sense to error the trade if you can't get the price quoted.. leave it with us. Regards Ablrate
