Completely disagree with this - it's an argument that only holds for loans where the borrower hasn't paid. Lendy pay a higher interest rate because of the inherent risk, this doesn't change the requirement to pay amounts held on account across to lenders in a timely manner. Correct me if I'm wrong but interest should be paid the first working day of the month right? Since it is still currently the first working day of the month, then what exactly have Lendy done wrong that hasn't met your criteria of a "timely manner"? Nowhere in their T&C's does it state a specific time frame to the hour for interest payment. I could understand people's frustration if the interest wasn't paid today and no e-mail or explantion as to why, me included, but that isn't the case. People are getting on their high horse and slagging Lendy down for absolutely no reason at this stage. That's my point. Do you think your horse might be a tad higher?

It seems to me that paying the interest earlier in the day rather than later would be an easy way for Lendy to appear to be on top of their game. I'm honestly surprised that they haven't made more of an effort to do this. I personally have no real doubt that the money will come in at some point today, but it does seem odd that Lendy would wish to annoy people by not being more prompt in paying up.

I don't think anyone's really slagging them off (i'm definitely not), and I agree that if it is paid by end of today then no problems. it's just about the confidence in them that is waining a bit due to the delay.
I have been with Lendy/Saving Stream for a few years now, and in all that time I don't remember the interest EVER being this late on the 1st of any month (ignoring weekends and bank holidays).
All it would have taken to keep up our confidence levels would have been a simple message on their web page.

Maybe "slagging off" was a bit extreme, but jonno 's original comment stating "You just couldn't make this up!" for interest not being paid by midday is what I deemed unfair on Lendy. And as I say this, interest is being paid so that's sorted.

Payment run cometh on stream, as somebody has unjammed the tap!  Who ever doubted Lendy interest ‘payment run’ would come?  Thanks Lendy. Same time next month then, later in the afternoon, rather than in the morning?  |

You won't catch me saying Lendy are the greatest thing ever but I do get fed up with the conspiracy theorists and the whingers. Yes, the payment was late today. No problem. Can't withdraw until tomorrow in any case.
For reference, here are the approximate times when interest payments started since the first post in this thread. Yes, today's started the latest but we got it on the day. Mission accomplished.

Perhaps the programs were having trouble figuring out which tabs/statuses needed paying and which needed accruing, and which had to go into the 'no hope' queue. Anyway, the money seems to be largely (OK, 'smalley') there now, so I expect the Ly fans will be clearing out the SM at some speed ..
