I'm doing better than some... £1.80 on 3.4k. That's a whopping 0.65% AER (approx).
Gross.
It certainly is.

I got £0.93 interest paid on my £105.25 investment.
Not many will believe this but, in XIRR terms, Lendy is currently my top performing sterling based platform at 13.79%.
I even weakened for a microsecond and considered reinvesting my 93p. Then I remembered all of the forum posts that show me the real state of what's going on at Lendy. I gave myself a good talking to and hit the withdraw button.

I'm doing really well. £13.35 on the £3.6k still stuck in Lendy. Not a bad 4.4% (approx) AER. Just a shame probably unlikely to get much if any of the remaining capital back.

Quoted direct from Lendy's e mails ........
November’s monthly interest has now been credited to
all investor accounts.
£45.4 million in interest credited to investors to date.
December’s monthly interest has now been credited to
all investor accounts.
£46.3 million in interest credited to investors to date.
So, circa £900 K interest paid out on £90 M of loans on the books as at 2nd January 2019. New investors, fill your boots......

I received the email to say that December interest has now been deposited, but there's nothing been added when I log in (not even a few pence). I usually received about £10 - £15 on my £5000 that I have spread across 28 different loans. Perhaps none of the 28 loans are earning interest any more? Anyhow, I've asked Lendy for confirmation. You'd think they'd avoid sending out the "interest has now been credited" emails in the event that there's no interest to be had!

Well, I can't complain, I got nothing, the same as last month, so things haven't got worse. Good to see Lendy appear to have halted my downhill slide for the moment at least. (So that's the New Year's 'Be Positive!' resolution off to a resounding start then.)

Until I actually get a loss in a particular loan I don't worry I will have had some return and those that paid back had large bonus whic will offset some future loss.
As they have never actually settled any of my loans with loss of capital it's a bit of unknown quantity.
My 2 year rule means I count it as 100% loss for that particular loan which should be small part of my overall portfolio not just Lendy. By taking the holistic view the outcome is always positive.
Collateral alredy written of in my books so any recovery will be a plus . Life is too short to worry about things you can't do anything about.
You still however have the right to expect professional managment of your investments which has been lacking.
Time for all P2P to up their recovery game

My monthly interest was only slightly below 'predicted' this month, helped by a couple of repayments with bonus interest.
I have managed to avoid some of the worst loans, both from information provided on this forum and some personal biases against certain investments- Unfortunately I haven't avoided all of them- but already some that looked bad paid up so I'm not worrying topo much yet.

Playing the long game can turn into sticking head in sand. Are you (and you are not the only one) playing a mind game rather than acknowledging that a substantial part of your investments is irretrievably lost?

Playing the long game can turn into sticking head in sand. Are you (and you are not the only one) playing a mind game rather than acknowledging that a substantial part of your investments is irretrievably lost? A loss is not a loss until it manifests itself. There are just not the actual losses to justify predicting the losses you envisage. The actual 100 % loss loans are few and far between and even if I were any It would be at most 1 months interest . Investment in loans usually amount to what would be a a weeks interest. Currently S&S down £20000 P2P up 15% and that is counting collateral invest as 100% write off. Just look at actual proven statistics not unjustified over pessimistic quesses. It should be an easy thng to do if things are so obvious. Again I ask for the hundredth time show me an overall loss in a diversified portfolio with a maximum of 1% in any investments. Nobody has managed to do that . Why don’t you be the first ? I doubt it ..
