I am appalled, to say the least at the level of Customer service from SS. Their email service is slow; they are not proactive at solving problems and if you do not chase them anything happens!
You earn the interest, but the customer service truly is below par! Shame on the people who have hired these people!
I withdrew my money on the 25/09 and it is still not in my account! (and this is no mistake from my part, I am not a P2P newbie, with accounts on more than 5 platforms and several withdrawals from SS itself)
Even if they withdrew it in cash and delivered it by donkey cart it would have arrived by now.
My biggest worry is that they sent the money to the wrong account, and they are buying time or something similar.

That sounds pretty serious... I've tagged savingstream for you as they do frequent this board and they often respond to complaints.

Good for you, glad your money arrived. Mine has not, even after four follow-up emails. I had to call them today, and the receptionist would not put me through anyone. She took my details.
Also I wanted to convert this into Euros (I am based in mainland Europe), I lost more than 6% in the last few days, because of their lack of service!
Thanks for tagging them, but really did I need to come here to get my money back?

European account, and this is not the first time I did a withdrawl.
In three weeks people can walk from London to Paris, I expect bank transfers to be a tad faster.

Does SS charge fees to deposit funds into a non sterling account? Does the bank give a good rate?

Well, for larger amounts currencyfair could be cheaper as it charges a fix amount.

Well, for larger amounts currencyfair could be cheaper as it charges a fix amount. Larger amounts; at what amount (roughly) would Currencyfair be cheaper than Transferwise? If I remember correctly, transferwise charges 0.5percent of the amount after eur 500, currencyfair charges eur 3 for each transaction, so for payments higher then eur 600 currencyfair should be the better alternative from the transactioncosts perspective. A big part plays the exchange rate, and I really dont know if cf is better in that regard. It might as well be, that both tw and cf charge different in the uk. currencyfair has a referal program, so that the first transaction is free of charge for the new member and if the transaction is higher then eur 400 or equivalent in any other currency, both the signee and the referee get a bonus of eur 30. there is such a link on my blog or I can pn If anybody is interested in such a referal link. at mods, I hope I am within the rules with this post, if not, please delete and accept my appologies.
