Must be the bonus offer. I sold a couple more last Friday. Less than £500 left but the way things are going I'm not confident of getting too much back. Will be happy to get out with a profit. You're still feeling optimistic then ? Optimistic-ish. However any more defaults and it'll soon turn to pessimism.

To be honest I have given up caring about this one. I'm going to let all my loans work their way through, whatever I get back is a bonus.

The chances are the loans to the few decent companies they've got on their books will sell quickly on the SM, leaving the early leavers with the soon-to-default trash, and no upside. The interest rates on the loans that are repaying are decent. Certainly shows how risky unsecured corporate lending is, and puts FC's performance into perspective.

By the looks of it I dodged this one but can't figure out what the name of the company is. Can anyone PM it to me please?
Many thanks

sildenafil ; Presuming you've had an answer by now, you may have lost track of it when name changed from [MOD: BB: REDACTED: Identifies borrower]

TheDriver - I think you might be sailing a little close to the wind with that hint... sildenafil - if you don't own it, you won't be seeing the loan anywhere on the site, I don't think. It is/was a specialist clothing retailer in a poshish bit of the NW.

It is/was a specialist clothing retailer in a poshish bit of the NW. And there in lies the problem. They wont have any stock - designers samples. And which brides to be will pay 50% deposit when the creditors liquidation is in public domain? Can only hope there is a real asset behind the directors' guarantee. Maybe ex-polis don't make for good finance directors...

They could do with updating their 'happy ending' section for this one in their case-study.

And, finally, proof that there might be intelligent life somewhere out there...
...or maybe not.
A month since the last comment, and that's it?

And, finally, proof that there might be intelligent life somewhere out there... ...or maybe not. A month since the last comment, and that's it? And another two months later, we get... We have been advised that the Guarantors are to enter into Individual Voluntary Arrangements. An insolvency practitioner has been instructed to proceed on these lines and we are awaiting formal notification as to the Guarantors proposals. A further up date will be provided by no later than the end of the month albeit we hope to be able to confirm the IVA situation earlier than this. There's lovely for you.

Maybe we should just draw a veil over this one Fine but if they don't default before end of year we cannot offset this loss against other p2p income

We have been in contact with the Insolvency practitioner dealing with this situation who has advised us that they are still compiling a Statement of Assets and Liabilities and Income and Expense statements for the Guarantors prior to advising creditors of their proposals for debt reduction. We will update you further once this information comes to hand.
