I thought that this probably needs a new thread to find the WINNER pom said she was £171 from getting her initial (£1000) back. I've just had a sale, which means I now need £206 (although I probably need another £50 to cover the tax bill on the interest) Is anyone nearer to a cleared profit?

Don't forget to include in your calculation the opportunity cost of having your money locked up there instead of somewhere paying 8-12% interest over the period

I guess if I had been earning 12%, then the tax bill would have been even higher - and at least they updated the tax statement to exclude the bonus - which saved me £60. BUT, you don't say how much spondoolie you've extracted ? Are you in the race?

Nah, I'm going to let things run their course, unless I see anything particularly alarming and can get out of the next bad loan before it goes pop. My view is that they'd have to be pretty unlucky for them all to go bad, and the interest rates on the good ones are in many cases above 12%, so it seems a shame to turn those down. Maybe I'll regret it, but I do still have some of my bonus left, so it feels like there's a buffer there too.

One of the problems here is that they can't buy YOUR parts, only some amalgamated sludge cobbled together from several sources, all unspecified. If I could make someone buy/sell my parts (or buy parts from reliable sources) I might be more chuffed. 8>.

It's become an achingly slow process. £400 sold in the first 2 weeks, and now down to the odd fiver here or there.
The scary thing is that this is how it's going with no loans on the primary marketplace and a big new push for lenders on. Still, maybe the S*B will spend their £2.75 million buying our shrapnel? Very happy for them to have it.

It is not that there are no sales. There are sales, although slow. The problem I see is the selection process that LC uses, a process that I have to stress is opaque and cannot be vetted. It puts at a disadvantage the lenders which happen to be at a particular interest range and most of all disadvantages the buyers who cannot select the best product. I cannot see how such a system is allowable under FCA rules. And yes, lendingcrowd, I will accept an offer to be accompanied to visit FCA.

After a quiet spell, I've just had 2 sales in the past 24 hours.
Maybe their latest offer is pulling in new punters.
Anyway, £840 now withdrawn, so only £160 to recoup my investment (with about £350 on active sale and £40 disabled)

In 10 days I've had 18 sales with 4 of them coming in the space of one hour today.
