To be classified as 'sophisticated' you only had to have made 2 previous p2p investments; hardly sophisticated, by any stretch of the imagination.

It seems improbable the borrower has a claim but as it’s got to court they must have an arguable case. Chris Respectfully, that's not my observation of the court system... often quite the opposite in fact.

Looks like another session of trawling through Lendy T&Cs: 15.5 We do not guarantee that loans will be fully funded.Although this is directed at Lenders, this does have an interesting implication - if Lenders were under any kind of obligation to fill loans, then Lendy *WOULD* in effect be guaranteeing that loans are fully funded. But Lendy are explicitly stating there are no such guarantees. Hmmm. And there everyone is the answer.. No need for a court case but I'm happy to see another chancer get buried

So, if I failed the "test" for being a sophisticated investor proving that my money should not have been taken to invest, can I have it all back now please so I put it in a safe 0.1% interest savings account? Thought not

I'm not part of the DD Central and became aware of the development in this loan just now.
What is the exact status of this loan and court case as of today? Are lenders joined or is it just an indication?
If lenders are joined, what needs to be done from the Lenders' side? Can we assume the administration talk our case as both are in the same boat?
