I went and hid under the bed in case they got their shotgun out again 8>. Whenever the website crashes they declare open season on anything bot-like (unless you are one of the bigger ones I guess). Personally I'm not sure that is really anything to do with it (and 'they' are not very forthcoming about what causes these issues, if they actually know.)
I can't see anything due to end at/around that time which might have caused the usual frantic bidding problem(s), although at 11:32 someone (a council) dumped a ton of cash (>25% of the loan) into 10433 at MBR .. but it was a bit later than that before the wheels came off.

Beware that when the website became unresponsive yesterday I ended up paying for two loan parts that were never assigned to me - so you may want to check your accounts...

And will the platform cope with the end of 10079 tomorrow? £515k A+ currently at marginal rate of 12.3%? Could be one or two last minute bids.

One or two would not be a problem. Hundreds a minute from various nameless sources, or two dozen at £960 each from you-know-who, will likely screw things up somewhat. We shall have to wait and see. It's just alarming/annoying that nobody from FC has come back to their forum (or this one) to let us know what is causing these outages, and whether it is likely to get fixed in any non-geological time frame.

When the All Bids column shows Goldservice, that is not actually my name. Equally, 'Leicestershire County Council' may be Elvis Presley

I assumed the transparency, but was not sure FC T&Cs permit me to name bidders on pasrticular loans explicitly! I guess it must be OK if a moderator did it though. 8>.

Not only that, but unless I'm mistaken, another large loan request (10258) finishes at precisely the same time. It's going to be an interesting stress test...

I've given up telling them to check everything the office monkey (yes, I know! ) does when making loans live on the website, but they take no notice. The Feeble Cheesecakes office has been careless for years, with its inefficiencies and inaccuracies. Get your bids in, strategically layered by 14:07 at the latest, then watch the fun - or not.

I thought they had learned when they started spacing loan end times by 35 minutes, but it turned out that was only for whole loan rejects which they released in batches. Oh well, maybe they want to stress tests the new fixes. 8>. Personally I shall layer early, &/or abide by the 3 bids per minute API limit (despite STILL not having the API).

Learn is not a verb in FC's lexicon. I had a Lexicon years ago, but it failed its MOT due to rust.
