If there's no bid options/button then it is closed - if there is, then it ain't. Unless of course it is screwed up. 8>.

10258 copped out by accepting early. Or did they...? Bids weren't being accepted from at least ten minutes before the scheduled end, but the summary bids page still showed time remaining - and the bids are still showing as "ended", without being converted into parts yet. 10258 had disappeared from the Loan Requests queue when there was still 10 minutes remaining on the bigger loan. (I found the bigger loan stopped accepting bids about 4 minutes out, and went over to 503 errors about 2 minutes out; as a result I got 1/3rd of what I wanted.)

In between fighting the 50X errors today, I noticed that I've got half of a double-sold loan part transaction. Normally people only catch it when it's been sold twice!
You'd think half a double-sold part would be -- a sold part. But no.
Statement shows the loan part was sold on 29/1/15:
2015-01-29 Loan Part ID 5328019 : Principal 18.65, Interest 0.06, Delta 0.35, Fee 0.05 £18.65 2015-01-29 Loan Part ID 5328019 : Principal 18.65, Interest 0.06, Delta 0.35, Fee 0.05 £0.05 2015-01-29 Loan Part ID 5328019 : Principal 18.65, Interest 0.06, Delta 0.35, Fee 0.05 £0.41
And yet the "sold loan parts" dialogue shows nothing sold (other loan parts around that time are there).
The "for sale parts" dialogue shows it is not sold
5328019 Loan For Coding Company To Grow 7742 A 44 1.9% [£0.35] £19.06 9.9% 10d
And the downloaded loan parts csv shows -- still for sale
5328019,Loan For Coding Company To Grow - Other - 7742,A (Low risk),44,18.65,11.1%,2015-02-16,,For Sale
So potentially I can sell this loan part again, at which point the amazing reconciliator bot will sort it all out?
I was up ~£20 for a while through the day, but it disappeared again, so that's back square. Number of loan parts held didn't change when it was "sold".
Always seems worse when the servers are under load ...

Oooh! You do tell some stories, mikeb. It never gets as bad as you're making out. You're just trying to get me to come round and reconcile your account again, cheeky.

I struggled with bidding well before the 2pm excitement today. Then I realised that there was hardly any signal on my smartphone (odd, considering the huge mast is right outside the building). Went to the window to search a better signal, to observe a couple of blokes in brightly coloured jackets swaying precariously from top of aforementioned mast. That probably explains it. Resorted to alternative technology, only to be defeated by utter snafu around 2pm. Not well pleased. We told you so.

blender -- the other shoe (or Trainor) dropped today, and the loan part sold again. This time it actually did sell, and I have the second entry on statement to prove it. Come on Betty-bot, sort it out

There's a queue? Would that be a FIFO queue, or one of those special FC-FILO queues, hmmm?

Yep, same here. Reckon it might be related to near-on 30 auctions closing today, some with fairly healthy rates atm?

I just hope that the borrowers who are trying to log on to end their auctions early aren't getting these 504's too

Well, now I'm just furious. Nothing but 502, 504 and then dumped out of the website what is the point of this auction site if it cannot manage the demand it itself is generating. Midday has just been terrible.

Appalling, shocking, horrific, terrible, awful, dreadful, horrendous, atrocious, outrageous, nightmarish, dire, shameful, unspeakable, unforgivable, unpardonable. Is there anything else that can be said about Funding Circle's technology management?

I wonder if the two loans ending at 11:54 had something to do with it? Perhaps we should check again today at 17:04 when both 10346 and 10348 are due to end.
