One way to clean up the SM would be to pause interest for unsold items to end the strategy of risklessly dumping all your parts on SM especially at a premium. Serious sellers should then find a more ready market.

Serious sellers should then find a more ready market. Unfortunately Elliotm this would not work. It would make things more inconvenient as people would need to pull their unsold items at the end of their day and then realist them the following day. It would clear some lines as people would not want to bother with that. However, the big winner with your suggestion is FS itself as it would still charge the borrower but would not need to pay all the interest due to investors out. I wonder if they would put the saved interest to a provision fund to cover the mounting unredeemed loans? I won't hold my breath for that one.

ISTM that serious sellers aren't competing with those offering parts at a premium now, so I'm not sure anything significant would change if people stopped listing for sale all those premium parts. Yes, the list would be shorter, but the people looking to buy probably aren't looking at -- or being distracted by -- the premium parts, so it will make very little difference to them whether the premium parts are listed or absent.

pepperpot - that is already planned to be added tomorrow - wanted to get site up first.
Any further suggestions for the new web site - please email, as we would not be able to keep track of multiple threads.

fundingsecure It would be useful if the "Sold investment from loan 1322375580" on My activity on the secondary market page would be clickable to take you to the loan in question.
