Ah, GVSM etc (what a handle! How is it derived?), a poster of your great experience should know by now that any suggestion in this forum that anyone is less than perfect is met with a reprimand, if not a ban. I am surprised you have not been threatened with legal action for defamation. I think I had better quit before I say anything offensive to the sensitive souls here.

When I worked in an office, we used to dream of being called oiks.

spell cheque? (even if it does pass a spell check). Oh to only have to worry about spelling. Perhaps it should be recalled that in the good old days typing was left to that now extinct breed, the professional typist. Now I think we are all used to keyboard typos.
But to return to the loan in question. 2100 parts for sale at discounts of up to 0.9% (I expect this to go to 1% soon). Did anyone actually want parts of this loan or are we all flippers now?

2171 parts now on the SM at the time of writing... I pondered deeply over this loan. The interest rate looks rubbish until you compare it with (say) a building society account. But it seemed to have better security than we usually expect, and it is only 18months. So I bought quite a few £20 parts and decided that I might experiment with flipping a few to test the market. There's not exactly been a stampede to buy. I did re-sell one part today. Not an ideal loan if you need an ability to exit early.

Now here's weird stuff:
I just checked the loan parts of 6142 available on secondary market. Suddenly, number for sale decreased from 2171 to around 400. Then over the course of a couple of minutes, every time I refreshed the page the number had crept up again until it hit over 2000 again. It gets weirder, Refreshed again and first it told me none for sale. Then 55, and it's ramping up again.
Has 6142 upset the system ?

Ah, GVSM etc (what a handle! How is it derived?) It's GSV3MiaC .. GSV three Minds in a Can. You need to read Iain m Banks (rip) Culture novels. If annoyed we could call up a friend or two as well (ROU 'Back to the Front', or GCU 'You asked for that' are probably available... Disassemble your solar system, no trouble sir or madam... Three minds are usual because you wouldn't trust a GSV to just one, in case it went off the rails. *giggle*

Be aware that if you go to Page N, and then set some extra filter (like £20) it Will still try to send you to page N, which may now be off the end of the list, so it'll say no parts (while still saying several hundreds in the summary) . At least that bug used to be there. The whole loan parts buying filter is seriously buggy.

And it aims to respond to every click or keystroke, so if you type £22, it'll filter on £2 and tell you there aren't any before it tries £22.
This might be fine if it were superfast, but on a grey bid button day, it gets like weeks behind.
And a refresh sometimes resets the filters and sometimes not.
And meanwhile the client end is doing type-ahead and mouse-ahead, and some actions just get lost altogether, especially in Windows, so you never know what filters are actually being applied to produce the result you're seeing.

And for £22 it'll show it in red since it expects £20 multiples, then it'll do it anyway. Like I said, designed very badly (if at all). No offence to the idiots who designed it.8>. Not like they haven't been told about the problems, but FC error reporting acts like a WOM (write only memory .. )
