Article in Lanc****** Tele***** that investors (those that put a deposit on apartments) have had to put in an extra 8% over their deposits to the new company running the development). We'll see how much of a haircut we will have. I bet it will be more than 8%...

Email updates have been sent by Lendy. As it says at the top in bold, DON'T DISCUSS IT HERE! I am sick of certain plonkers on here ignoring these warning and putting *MY* money at risk. For those of you that did not get the email, it isn't that exciting, you're not missing out on anything really. Private portal on the website will probably be updated soon too I guess.

Problem is that some people get the updates others don't. I haven't received any update email and yet there is information in the public domain out there. If the communication side was handled correctly and investors kept up to date promptly there wouldn't be the vacuum that there currently is.

Without wanting to come under the wrath of the "non discussion police", does anyone have an inkling of what percentage of our loan parts we could hopefully expect to get back from DFL012. I have given up on the interest I think that went months ago..

It does seem daft to send out an email but not yet post its contents on the loan's "private portal"

Frankly, I am becoming more concerned with the comments of other investors, than Lendy management updates. It is pointless speculating until the facts are known. ( what a late friend of mine referred to as 'the mutual exchange of ignorance' (of the facts))
It is what it is. Not too many moaning when being paid 1% gross per month.

i dont believe the following will infringe any disclosure agreement
While the net sale proceeds do not cover the outstanding loan, this is a significant and positive step forward.
well thats one way to put a spin on losing peoples investments

Lendy Support was loged in to the forum 22 hours ago so they do have time to peruse our posts between their hard work in recovering defaulted loans

It looks like the unsecured creditors have effectively faced a 92% recovery ahead of the secured creditors which are facing a loss.
All while the freehold is owned by Lendy Properties Ltd
Smells worse than some of my cheeses!

I've been avoiding watching this is the same way you close your eyes to an approaching head on collision, but can somebody tell me how Lendy ended up owning the freehold which is presumably a huge sum of money that came from.... And I would be overjoyed at a 92% recovery which unsecured creditors have got but secured creditors will get less? What the hell?!

I'm unsure where the money came from or for what reason they bought it.
