That loan you are holding has just had its parent company go into liquidation. I sold out earlier today but you are still holding purely because it is 12% and 330+ days term remaining. Wouldn't want to be in your shoes when the platforms make the announcement in a day or two and the SM has clogged up in the meantime. OK. Time's up. That loan doesn't exist. But it might have, and without DD - or operating a nothing but a 'mechanical' investing system - you'd be on the wrong side of ignorance. Not funny

Humour wasn't the objective. Well thanks for the lesson, oh wise one.

Humour wasn't the objective. What was the objective? To create panic?

OK. Time's up. That loan doesn't exist. But it might have, and without DD - or operating a nothing but a 'mechanical' investing system - you'd be on the wrong side of ignorance. Spoil sport...was waiting to pick up gt's B***k A & Pitfield! No chance, those loans are high class - and PBL178 and PBL179 are better still - I would argue the best there are. I've been hunting for more of them on the SM for days without success. Unfortunately I feel there are a few investors who invest a lot of time and effort into extensive personal DD and resent slightly the fact that others who don't are receiving exactly the same returns and have, similarly, suffered no capital losses on the platform. I feel some people think doing a lot of DD should carry with it a bonus return. Unfortunately, it doesn't. All I would add is a reminder of the LY defaults policy (below), updated just 3 months ago, which some may not have read recently. Loans cannot default while in + days and can only default between -1 and -179 days at LY's discretion. Therefore, common sense suggests that staying in long + days loans is the best form of risk mitigation. LY provide us with the SM so we can trade loan parts and skilful traders and strategists will achieve best outcomes - in my opinion.

Hi timmy
Many thanks for the continued updates and photos.
Can we get one from the Blimp to see the rest of the site?
Best wishes, SXLR

Ninth tranche of Development Funding £523,013 now in the Pipeline (complete with a more detailed IMS update) With £272k already underwritten on this loan (SM availability minus SM queue) and with £819k available on the SM - how long will it take for this tranche to fill?
Personally, I'm up to my limit on this loan although I have no intention of selling it in the current climate. I think I have to see it through to term.
I am very tempted to add a little to help with the development but it would not do my diversity any good at all!

I'm in exactly the same boat. At the end of the day though, I have let the diversity rule slip a little on a couple of loans.

I must confess to being a bit confused regarding this loan. It would appear to be relatively popular on this board, and yet it's the loan with by far the highest amount on the SM , currently over 800k. I accept that a partial answer may lie in the fact that it's simply a very big loan of over 17m , but even so, if it's as sound as one would assume from this board, then there would be zero availability on the SM. I can't figure it out

The potential ltv after UNs may also hold back some investors.

You'll get a percentage of people who aren't on the forum or who want to sell early regardless of perceived risk. I imagine most people who are happy to hold are already at their maximum exposure, so we are probably at the natural limit of the platform based on the current investors.

I have what for me is a significant sum in this and I'm not trying to sell it. However I'm not inclined to add to my holding.

I drive past this place everyday on the way to work. I'm happy with the progress, admittedly I'm not sure it will be finished within 6 months but they maybe in a position to finance elsewhere by then.
Well past my individual loan limit on this one but not worried and more than happy to hold to term.
Presume Lendy will have to use underwriters to fill any prefund holes.

Tranche 9 going live tomorrow (04/07/17) Apparently not.
Why the delay? My assumption is that they are having trouble filling the tranche.
The SM availability vs sale queue difference is now £292k (£20k more than it was on June 30th). Perhaps Lendy are unwilling to have this one underwritten even further, or perhaps underwriters cannot be found.
When the tranche does eventually go live, I will check again the SM vs sales queue to see if it increases.
