Anybody else dug into the controlling party behind this borrower and been a bit put off?

Yes - me !! I can't remember the details , but I got out of this loan ages ago because the borrower looked dodgy to say the least. To be fair, most other investors seem confident enough, or perhaps are blissfully unaware. Also as I mentioned in another post earlier today , I'm starting to think I might be a bit over-cautious in general, which could ultimately be costing me - mind you I won't be saying that if some external "black swan" event occurs which results in loads of defaults and even potential platform meltdown.
As you can probably tell I still struggle to balance risk with reward !

Therefore it sells like hot cakes on the SM and I'm still in it and raking up the interest. This will be one to bail out of at around the 90 day mark I think. Platform failure is the bigger risk.

I'm struggling to lay my hands on the controlling party through the valuation document, can you point me in the right direction as to where I can find it/him/her? Separately what in particular put you off? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested in your findings!

Stopped watching this thread but it's just been bumped by the recent posts above so I've just caught up.
Glad to be out as I can't see a clean exit for this one.

I'm not in this loan anymore but surprised the crowd isn't getting a bit anxious by the perpetual "no change" update.
Watching this one with interest.

The crowd should have a close look at the change in the Council's development plan I'm not sure what the going rate for "green space" is nowadays... presumably not as much as a proposed retail park  but the valuation report said.....

According to the latest updates, there's been 8 months where no change has been noted, and now the borrower is being engaged with formally to understand their formal way forward. We, as well as our agent, await their formal response as we haven't yet heard formally or informally what that will eventually be, with 8 7 days remaining of the loan term. Consequently, as I understand it, there has been no decision made whatsoever to suspend trading in this loan on the secondary market, as the risk profile has been deemed not to have changed one jot, in line with Lendy's regulatory requirements. What could possibly cause concern in any of that? Sounds a formality.

The smart money got out of this pig a long time ago. Yet another case of us not needing to look at the borrower, only the security? Well, I suspect now the director has done a runner, testing the security is likely not that far away.
