So stock is monitored at day 1, day 91, day 181 etc
So 98.888888889% of the time it isn't monitored?
I would base the performance of this loan on it's historic trading figures, it's management strength and the market it is operating in.
I personally would never place any reliance on stock on any loan as when the proverbial hits the fan, stock tends to have been run down to generate cash to keep a business afloat in it's final few months.

A large tranche of this has just appeared on the SM at a 1% discount . Currently approx 200k on sale at par and 300k at a 1% discount.
And this is for an 11.5% loan that was given a pretty glowing update just a few days ago.
Mmmm, tempting ....

It does explain why I hadn't sold any recently. It would be good to have a single place where discounted loans were displayed.

There aren't that many deals being offered to underwriters and when you factor in all the dead money time then there's not a lot to be made on it and offering at 1% would eat that up. My guess is that it's someone who needs the money for something else now, say to buy a house.

Shame, I was happily selling other stuff and buying at 11.5% plus 1% immediate.

Another £300k appeared on the SM with a 1 per cent discount, and there's well over £400k of non-discounted offerings. I cannot begin to hazard the reason why, but am sure it isn't AC.

Have to say that I fail to understand why this loan isn't being snapped up. Couldn't have asked for a more positive update than was provided on 11th May (see activity tab) , it's effectively 12.5% when you factor in the 1% discount, and it offers some welcome diversification from property loans. Also imo AC are pretty good at keeping lenders informed unlike one or two competitors whose names I shan't mention ! Maybe I'm missing something, but for the life of me I can't see what it is. I've got a healthy chunk of this so if I'm making a big mistake , please let me know !

I suspect most MLIA lenders also have healthy chunks of it and a good number may not have spotted the discount available. It's far from obvious unless you happen to click on it.

Excuse my ignorance. How do you get the 1% discount? I must be having a senior moment.

Excuse my ignorance. How do you get the 1% discount? I must be having a senior moment. Set a buying target to buy some. You'll automatically get the best available discount on offer. If you want to make certain only to buy at a discount, you can also set your buying order only to buy at 1% discount or better.
