Oh dear. My 12 week loan that was due to repay on 7th Feb is now marked as late. So my statistics are now 2 loans repaid early and 1 loan overdue. I hope that is not a sign of things to come. I have been investing on an expectation of a 7% default rate, as advised by the platform but yet to be justified by any published statistics. My late loan has just repaid, including an extra 2 days interest presumably to cover the delay. I have another 15 loans due to mature in February, so I should have some more meaningful repayment figures to report by end Feb.

Thought I'd add my experiences in here as I've just had my second loan repay. Originally proposed to repay on the 6th, it has come through as full repayment today, so only a few days late. My first 8 week loan repaid over a month early meaning I got next to no interest on it - which looking at it now, doesn't look right, maybe I'll query this.. £250, 8 weeks (28/11/16 - 23/1/17) , 0.4%, actually repaid 30/12/16, £251.30 returned £250, 12 weeks (11/11/16 - 6/2/17), 0.3%, actually repaid 10/2/17, £292.90 returned I seem to have done a lot better out of the second one. Just to follow up on this, I did report this shortly after making the post and had an email by 10am this Monday morning informing me they were looking into it, and the missing funds plus another email confirming they'd fixed a bug related to it by 2pm. Great job, thanks

My glut of February maturing loans have now matured so I can report some meaningful statistics. My total loan repaymemts to date are: - 3 loans repaid early, average 59 days early.
- 12 loans repaid within 2 days of the correct time. Average 1.5 days late. Repaying a day or two late seems to be normal. Surprising as borrowers should be paying by direct debit
- 3 loans repaid late. Average 4 days late
- 0 late loans outstanding
- 0 defaults so far - Horray!
- All interest paid in line with the rates I expected
Unfortunately I have not been able to re-invest in new loans at the frequency I was acheiving in November, so I am reluctantly withdrawing the repaid loans.

Is anyone interested in this anymore? If so, I've had a £500, 4 week, 0.4% pay back today, total returned £536.40.
That leaves just one £500 loan outstanding, due early May, despite having every £250 and £500 offer slot filled at the minimum rate.

Is anyone interested in this anymore? Of course! Actual user experiences are the most valuable form of information, especially for a "high volatility" platform such as TMP. I haven't yet invested but ongoing user feedback will play a pivotal role when the time comes to make the decision.

This will have been my fault, as I joined in Jan 2017, and being a risk man over-hauled the policies and some processes. This takes time, and we are still optimising. But it did mean pulling back the risk appetite to be prudent, and we are now in a position to lend a little more quickly now. Hopefully the speed of lending experience from April 2017 onwards is better than Q1 2017... Kevin.

I probably shouldn't say it, but I've had more matches recently although all at £500 which makes me somewhat nervous. I'd prefer £250 matches, or even better, £20 partial loan parts! Still, I have Ratesetter for boring, this (and my shiny new FS IFISA) is for the nail biting rollercoaster!

Can we use this is marketing?

Yep, the matches are coming thick and fast now. So much so, that yesterday I deposited £500 and today it was matched to loans totalling £750! The £250 anomaly was soon cancelled, though. I would have preferred to have kept that one and dropped the £500 one (or, if they'd allowed me a negative balance for a bit I'd have rummaged down the sofa and put in enough to keep it).

I've just joined with a humble £1,000 to test the waters. Split them into £250 lots spread over the time periods at the lowest rates. Three days and no bites yet. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

TMP loans are a little like buses, nothing for a while then several all together. It might take up to 3-4 weeks to get invested.
