This is utterly ridiculous. High street banks don't shut you down once a year to confirm your identify. I am on holiday in the UK. No passport or other ID to hand for 10 days and a quqrter of my investments are showing available for distribution.
I like the kuflink model but this stupidity is annoying me to the point of leaving. I let them off in the summer when I removed 10k and they asked me to confirm why, I just thought it was badly worded method of personal verification, now I am starting to wonder if there processes are complete rubbish in the back office as well as the front.

utterly ridiculous. Just tried to do it via a laptop.. camera on laptop is not up to it. Logged out to complete on my phone. Message there advising it is verifying my account. So now have to wait for an email.. which will inform me I have been unsuccessful No idea when that will arrive. So process on hold. I can see I have funds in my account, which I can't access. Sent them a response via there online chat, which is closed. Monitoring this closely. I really don't like this. No other organisation has been this intrusive with my data.

Hi all, We’ve read through your comments and wanted to reach out. Whilst we appreciate that digging out your ID and finding a spare couple of minutes to re-verify your identity can be frustrating, we have recently redesigned our approach to anti-money laundering regulations and now require all investors to do this once a year in order to help us maintain a secure platform. Your personal circumstances may have changed since you first signed up over a year ago, and it is important that we hold up-to-date information for you. The process is quick and all completed online – all you’ll need is photo ID and a smartphone or webcam to take a selfie with. Some of you have mentioned that you’ve had trouble completing the verification, in which case we’d recommend you read through our AML check FAQs and try again, or contact the team and we’ll help however we can. help.kuflink.co.uk/en/collections/1901485-aml-checks We’re also aware that some investors have experienced problems accessing some areas of their accounts. This was not intentional and we have no desire to lock investors out of their accounts – we are rectifying it as we speak. Please accept our unreserved apologies for any inconvenience or distress this may have caused. Finally, we’d like to thank you all for your support. The industry is changing and, as is the case for most platforms, it’s an extremely busy time for Kuflink. Please bear with us whilst we work through your comments and queries and know that we’re grateful to you all for your patience whilst we do our best to maintain a secure, sustainable platform and build the many products we have in development.

What I dont understand is if I have a relatively small sum on the website (less than 13000 Euros) and it does not change then how could I have laundered money over the period of a year ?

Two days ago I'd to do an online identity verification with a German bank for a simple account That used a special app and an SSL encrypted Video connection. The first connection was bad and they disconnected. They took face and passport pics, but the guy also checked various security features on the passport. There is one holo more on it than I was aware of. He took pictures off all, and the background structure. I had to read the passport number; probably for (later?) audio checks. He didn't check the NFC chip though (at least I didn't notice) He then cross-checked with the official (government) data bases in Germany. Now complain about selfies ...

Wonder what's happened to this month's interest payments? "Your interest will be paid on the first working day of every month for the duration of your investment."
