Thanks folks - I signed up Thursday evening, topped up just before midnight & the money appeared 10AM exactly Friday. I would suggest that kuflink update the message (says that it will usually take 1 to 2 hours) as it was what got me nervous - I checked every time I wakened overnight, worrying about where the money had gone (on another platform, on two occasions money was transferred, but never showed up on my balance until I chased it). Also, having signed up & read the latest 'reserve' select invest offer, I would suggest that as a minimum they include a note of, after the current tranche, how much money the borrower will have borrowed against the security in question. Better still, separate facts (the current 90 day valuation, current market valuation, current loan, etc.) from predictions (GDV, potential full loan, etc.). I do wonder if a 90 day to market valuation ratio of 40% is normal?

Hello, Thank you for your comments, I will look into why it took so long for your funds to appear in your wallet and will, if necessary, get the time frame on the platform changed to reflect what is indeed a realistic time scale, and in doing so, manage investor expectations. Thank you for your suggestions regarding a note to show the amount of money a borrower has received after the current tranche, this is a good idea and I will look to get this implemented asap. With regard to the large gap between the OMV and 90-day on our tranche deal - no this isn't typical of opportunities, however it isn't unheard of either. The valuers on this deal are very reliable and we are confident in the values that have been provided. Kind regards Rachel Southcott Marketing Director

Hi all, Would like to inform you of our latest offer, you can earn a cash reward for recommending Kuflink to your friends! We’re offering £100 cashback* when your friend invests a minimum of £200 via our platform. That’s £100 for you and £100 for your friend on top of your interest! Take a closer look at our offer here: join.kuflink.co.uk/referafriend/ Capital is at risk. T&Cs apply. On another forum, an interesting question was asked: what happens if you sign up using the link of someone who has still to complete their 14 day cooling off period? It has been suggested that the link should only be made available after the 14 days.

Hello, Yes this is something we have already considered as we are aware there is some confusion around the 14-day cooling off period. To clarify, the referee must have already passed their 14-day cooling off period before they can refer a friend, despite the fact that they have access to their referral link before this stage. Thank you for your comments and suggestions, we will look to implement this as soon as possbile Kind regards Rachel Southcott Marketing Director

Does anyone know if the referral bonus is automated? Have tried messaging them, but no reply & when I called, seemed to be a skeleton staff on (very polite guy, couldn't answer my question, but going to pass it on - may be tuesday for an answer)

jnm21, many thanks for getting in touch. Yes, the system is automated but we don't pay out referral bonus / commissions over weekends keeping in mind money movements across our accounts. Also, if your investment is in a reserved deal, the cashback / commission is calculated 14 days after the deal has gone live. Reserved funds are classified as client monies and we have to ensure the 14 day cooling off period has ended prior to making any commissions / cashback. Feel free to contact us if you'd need any further details at all. Happy Easter all! Hari

kuflink thanks for the reply. I can understand the reserve point & accept the reasoning, which keeps it in line with your T&Cs. My investment was not a reserve (I think I probably would have worked that out if it had been as it seems logical). Where my investment was made at 10:30 (ish) on 16th, 14 days lapsed at 10:30 yesterday. You are now outside your own T&Cs - as I explained to the chap on the phone, it is the best introductory offer in P2P I am aware of & you are wasting it by annoying the customers it brings in. So far my first deposit was not handled in line with timescales stated, I was given a referral link of my own before it would work & now this. All pretty small, but when you take them as 3 for 3 in dealings with a new customer! I want to like Kuflink, but with nothing bigger to judge on, first impressions are not good. Going forward, I would suggest that the investment confirmation email (or one sent soon after) spells out when the 14 day cooling off period expires. (Where that is not done clearly, legally does it not only start when it is?) Then it would be nice to have a confirmation of the referral - the referer gets a nice table to show progress, but the referee seems to be left in the dark. Finally an email when the 14 days is up to say 'refer at will'! Can you confirm if the SMS on Thursday was confirmation of this or just a mass communication with unfortunate timing? One final suggestion is that you look at your marketing opt in process - I never accept mobile marketing, so either permission was pre-ticked or not asked - either way, under the upcoming GDPR, you need to review this (and indeed reconfirm for existing customers I believe).

jnm21, many thanks for your reply and suggestions. I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused. Here are the responses to your queries: 1) With regards to the refer a friend scheme, could you please PM me your email you used to join Kuflink and I can rectify this right away 2) I believe the SMS was a campaign sent out to our entire community. I'll pass your feedback to our Marketing team 3) As a part of our commitment towards GDPR compliance, we are making a host of changes to make life easier for our community. We are building our 'communications preferences' section for already signed up users. Users can opt in or opt out as they see fit. Our GDPR related changes are due to be rolled out 1st week of May 4) Agree on the referee email, we do have this in our release pipeline. Also, personally I would like to see a statement of sorts emailed on a monthly basis All your feedback is highly appreciated and this will help better our product. Please feel free to send me any other queries / suggestions at all. Kind regards, Hari
