Hi Paul64 & savingstream ,
Please read this post made by savingstream in March last year relating to questions about DFL001.
In particular section 2 (reproduced here):
2. What method will be used to decide how much of the total loan is released at each stage?
Each tranche will be for £500,000 and will be payable to the developer on receipt of a satisfactory QS report. We will release this to SS investors for review before drawing down upon it.

Was already in my OP (been there since the beginning)  Paul64 has PM'd me in regards to this subject. As it is a PM, I won't go into detail, but apparently, there are some legal issues (I'm not entirely convinced - PBL092 had a QS published and is still online) and some other points which I will let SS post if they feel the need to. After a follow-up message, it is noted that they will look to see what they might be able to do

Judging by the tone of an email sent from SS regarding this subject, I get the impression they don't feel the majority of us are bright enough to understand a simple update anyway, the jury is still out as to how I might react, but it came across as condescending at the very least

Dude's like a dog with a bone, and rightly so, these Reports are essential and MUST be provided by SS - HTF are we able to make a decision on re-investing otherwise? Ignoring such requests is, well, ignorant!
Just like we should be able to trust reliable VRs eh?

Haven't SS told us somewhere -- I can't find it right now -- that it's our responsibility to do our own DD and decide we're happy to invest? If so, how can we do that if rather important info like the MS reports aren't made available to us?

Any update on this Paul64? I am mystified as to how SS can require investors to perform their own DD, yet deny investors the crucial information required to perform DD. |
