Hi all, I am just writing to introduce myself as the new head of marketing and comms at Lendy Finance/SS. Over coming months I will be introducing more regular and timely communications to our investors. Great news!
From my side, I would like investors to be able to access the loan agreements/contracts that we have with the borrowers we are lending to.
I had made a request in March last year, was promised that it was in the pipeline and a contract column was even added to the loan list, but has since been removed.

Hi Paul64, Thanks for introducing yourself. I appreciate there is a lot of information for you to digest here, and I'm sure you will get some emails, and many replies to this thread, but as well as the threads already mentioned, there are these here too which you may find informative. loan updates...; loan book updates...; updates quality pollI think most lenders will realise that SS don't always have or are able to provide specific information, but just wish to be kept abreast of developments, and receive pertinent information and answers to reasonable queries, as much as possible. I think it would be good if the Q&A section on the loan pages could be implemented too. That might save on some repetitive queries, as well as keep us all in the loop. Good luck, and hope you don't find some of the posts too disheartening, take the ‘noise’ as a mark of SS’s success |

Welcome Paul Perhaps one of your first tasks could be to ensure that all emails to support/Q&A requests from lenders get a response. You might not be able to answer for legal/commercial/confidentiality reasons but just say so. I have unanswered tickets from months ago and the lack of any response is both unprofessional & rude IMO. Secondly, it is important to read the question(s) and answer the question (s) asked, otherwise you are just making extra work as lenders will just repeat the question. Anyway good luck & you might need one of these for a while  |

Hi everyone, and thanks for all your great comments. Very good. 'Sentence' or not, it's a great opportunity, and a great team here. I have only started this week, so lots to look at. Please don't expect immediate changes, but things will move quite fast and I hope that you will see improvements over coming weeks and months. I do hope you will be able to make a difference in this area of SS's work. It has been an area sadly lacking recently which impacts adversely the credibility of the platform and makes investors nervous.
May I, politely, suggest your mantra each day should be "All SS communications will be: Relevant, Timely, Accurate". If that is achieved I'm sure all will be well.

Please think of this as an opportunity to shine, not a sentence. Everyone here has good reason to be disgruntled with SS communications, it's one thing to be kept in the dark but quite another to be ignored too. Please ride it out, it's all directed at SS not you.
We should all be encouraged that SS have recognised this problem and are addressing it with Paul's Appointment. I would suggest to everyone that we have a ceasefire w.r.t. SS while Paul gets settled in.
