Did you hear the former nuclear sub commander, now Ulster Unionist Assembly Member, on R4 this am? When that kind of expertise and experience is so unworried, I'm comfortable. I heard he had signed an order banning people from countries involved in terrorism from entering the USA. Wonder if that includes people from Israel, Saudi Arabia and Turkey?
And then PM goes and gets an order for UK to supply Turkey with fighter aircraft when they refuse to talk to people of Kurdistan who had their land given to Turkey, amongst others, as part of the ending of the Ottoman Empire.

Think it's Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. Others are too politically/economically contentious presumably in his view. Watching the current media presenting on the refugees from the Nazis that Britain took, at the anniversary of auschwitz's liberation, and the justifiable good feeling that that engenders, makes me wonder if we will all be hanging our heads in shame in hindsight in the future re Syria (as Rwanda, Bosnia...).
