Buttchopf23 is correct. Our announcement was as follow;
"I am pleased to announce that we have launched Welendus Beta for investors last Friday. You can now visit our website (www.welendus.com) to create an account and start your investment journey with us. In order to control the lending activities during the beta stage, we have created an invite only token based system. After creating an account, we will email you your unique access token to start adding investments from early next week. Really exciting!
Please note that we have opened the investment door but we are not accepting any loan applications at this stage. We will start accepting borrowers as soon as we raise sufficient lending capital to operate the lending activities efficiently.
I am also pleased to announce that we are now overfunding on Seedrs after exceeding our target in under 24 hours form launching our campaign. You can view our campaign by visiting (https://www.seedrs.com/welendus5)."
Note that tokens will be sent on a first come first served basis in a controlled manner.

Entered the £100 in the box and then what? Could not see what to do next some rubbish about a token. Account closed on the spot in panic as I had put in my card details.

Sorry, what does this mean. I tried to invest £100 after opening an account. I put that figure in the required box which opened a second box with this token label. Tried putting £100 in that box as well BUT Could not see what to click on next to send the money.

As mentioned on few occasions on this post, we have launch this phase by invitation only and will open the door slowly for our registered investors on first come first served basis. With that in mind, rest assured that you have not been charged for any transaction and will not be able to invest until we send you a token.
Hope this clarifies. We have this stated on the home page of our website as well as throughout this post. Apologies if this was not clear enough and for the inconveniences this may have caused to you.

seedrs.com/secondary-marketJust to update some posts at the top of this thread from a year or two ago: Seedrs secondary market now opens for a week on the first Tuesday of each month, we we can still buy and sell Welendus shares with luck. Crowdcube, usually Seedrs twin and rival, has talked about a secondary market but still not set one up, so I have stopped experimenting on their site. Assetmatch.com is a newish rival to the Alternative Investment Market for comp anies with "£10m turnover and 50 shareholders"; I don't know any more about them

Crowdcube, usually Seedrs twin and rival, has talked about a secondary market but still not set one up, so I have stopped experimenting on their site. True. I also stopped investing via Crowdcube since Seedrs operates a secondary market (and since I am totally disappointed by Crowdcubes due dilligence). A real game changer if you ask me.
