Although I got lucky with £500 invested in the green business account the other week, getting anything invested in the GBBA is proving impossible. Nearly everyday I get emails from AF telling me of a new loan, yet none of my queuing money gets taken. 3.75% interest is skant reward for having your money sitting there doing nowt for weeks on end. I could at least be getting 4.25% in the 30 day. A LOT of GBBA buying for me today. Busiest day ever I think. It could be due to a drop in the QAA resulting in it releasing loans, or a release of loan parts which were bought by QAA swept funds hence the drop. AC definitely has nuances. Anyway, my average interest rate across AC is over a percentage point up from QAA cash getting invested in GBBA. did you have a similar day? Yes, I had a large amount of GBBA queuing money invested. Also in the Green account. Was more than happy to finally have the money put to work. Just a shame it doesn't happen more often.

GBBA

Here is a funny thing that happened with my GBBA yesterday: it randomly sold over £30 of its £90 holding in #379 B*****w***r P******y D**********s Ltd and at the same time my MLIA purchased almost £50 of the same loan. I had £200 queued to invest in my GBBA at the time. I took a look at the loans list and there is currently over £20k of #379 for sale.
So my questions are:
1. Why should my GBBA sell out some of it's holding on a loan when money is queued to invest in the GBBA?
2. Does the GBBA know something about #379 that I don't ?
I will certainly be keeping a close eye on this loan from now on.
EDIT - My GBBA has now dumped all it's remaining holding in #379 despite there still being money queued to invest so has this loan become ineligible for the GBBA for some reason?

happy my GBBA has offloaded chunks of 379 yesterday and today. I haven't done a tally but suspect it may have shifted the lot. my GBBA was 100% invested... now a mere 99%.

On the basis that we now get little direct response from AC on this forum since (IMHO) they were scared away by an over zealous poster I will email CS on Monday and post the response back here for all.

Couple of questions for all you cognoscenti out there:
i) Is this 9% requirement for eligibility documented anywhere on the website (other than the Q&A referred to), and ii) Does the same condition apply to the GEIA?
(Edit: should add - have looked, haven't found.)

I've withdrew the majority of my cash from AC now but there's still an annoying £1.93 sitting in the GBBA waiting to be withdrawn. It's been like this for weeks. Any ideas why? I'm assuming it's maybe a default but it's difficult to pinpoint.

6.47% for me (well the wife's account actually) over 19 months. 3.3% of total amount invested in 'distressed' loans last time I checked. This is only a small account, sub £10K. 5.767% XIRR for me. However the account whilst 1.5 years old, has had the majority of its deposits in the last 6 months. One which I will keep an eye on though.

Given most of the recent Geia loans have been 8% ones, and a sizeable chunk of my GBBA is on 8%, I would suggest that the rules are a little more complex than a fixed percentage. From memory, I think that chris previously commented on a specific loan which was 8% but LTV was too high so wasn't GBBA applicable, so I would suspect that the percentage yield, LTV and potentially some internal 'risk of default ' metric may be the criteria used for eligibility.

My apologies, I forgot to post back, I had an answer of sorts from Dominic which debunked the 9% GBBA qualification criteria, obviously "fake news", but does not explain why it happened on #379 in this instance. I was promised a further update after they investigated further, still waiting for this and will post it here when I do. Full reply below: At the present time I cannot see any reason or change in the loan that would make this happen or cause it to happen on any other loans in the future.
Therefore I will be conducting a thorough investigation into why this has happened. This will involve communicating with the relevant areas of responsibility to gather all the pertinent facts. I have identified the key staff that will be able to investigate and provide the information required in order to formulate a full response.
Once I have completed this, I will write to you again with an update on progress
