Could drop the new fangled 24 hour bid limit to 12 hours and drop the 0.25% approx. max bid limit to 0.1%
That would make it 1000 slices, even that I am not sure would last that long, but would give people a chance (2.5x more chance in fact)
So loan goes live 4pm, at 4am another slice is up for grabs, so in effect by 4pm the following day 2 slices, so 0.2% can be had, and at just after 4pm on day two, the max anyone could get if the loans lasted that long would be 0.3%

Not sure that they need to replenish as quickly as possible, so long as it's in time for the next loan or tranche that they need to fill. The big demand from lots of smaller lenders will do rapid replenishing on day one even if it in total runs for a few days.
We weren't all wrong about this one. Those who got in during the hour it was around got their demand prediction right.

And I rushed to log on at five past four. Got a bit of Wadsworth, but the money came out of the 5 year on RS. Better transfer a bit more in there and see if I can get a bit of the 5.9% that people are talking about.

I'm surprised it went so fast - OK, it's a long-dated (but with a high chance of early repayment), high interest, low-LTV loan with a reasonably solid exit plan, but it's also one of 10 largest loans on MT, and it's all in one tranche. Perhaps its single tranche nature resulted in everybody rushing to make sure that they got a bite of the cherry, rather than saturating the short-term money supply.

I played safe and logged on at 16:05, but I had expected around 75% to go rapidly, and the tail to remain for several or more hours. So I got in during the hour, but didn't get the demand prediction right. There may be many people in the same position. MT's system has been working well, but unless they can up deal flow and/or size of loans it looks as if it might need to be revisited.

Given that the majority out there is a load of any old rubbish this one was always going to fly - like a rocket. *Clocked in at 15:50, patiently waited and duly swooped at 16:00, and my PC is bog standard, not super dooper in any way. (*Yes, yes, I'm totally aware not everyone is in a position to be able to do this )

Logged in at 4 and the site was running slow and it took two or three minutes for the loans page to load but I was able to make my purchase with no problems at all. I would say that the excellent Ed got the maximum bid limit a bit too high on this one I always thought it would fly out of the door and it might have been better for the maximum bid to have been set at £1,250 but no complaints from me. Sadly we were left disappointed by the inferior performance on a loan launch day of another platform that shall remain nameless.

Just noticed that there's a small update regarding this loan on the "updates" tab of the loan details page. Don't panic - nothing to be alarmed about I happened to stumble across this by luck. Would be good if updates like this get posted to this forum or sent to lenders via email - I don't see either yet.

Ah. I just found that once logged in, there's an "Updates" sub-page in the "Support" section which lists a whole bunch of updates to various loans. I never knew it was there...

Me neither (mind you most of the updates are from yesterday & today!).....some interesting reading tho...and am I the only one to be resigned but disappointed that the CSP loans will be coming to an end (albeit over 5yrs by the looks of things)

Evening,
Yes, the updates section on the platform has just been launched and Sophie & I (well, mostly Sophie), are busy adding the first updates to all the loans (about half way through so far).
We planned on communicating this to everyone once all the updates have been added. There are also some additions to the functionality which TheShuang will have done within a few days so that lenders are alerted when there is an update to a loan they are invested in (some sort of flag when they log in).
We have a pretty packed Monday & Tuesday this week with our company meetings, so we wont probably have all the updates done until perhaps Wednesday/Thursday.
Kind regards,
Ed
