Full Authorisation, that'll fix everything then won't it .............................................. -> -> I have had dealings with all these "Bodies" going as far back as LAUTRO in the 90s and they are all ineffective and useless.

I suspected SS were trying to make it look like they had two loans of that size when they really only had one. Now the question is whether they were deliberately trying to mislead their readers or are just incapable of error-free communications. Creative writing 1st rule of marketing - Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

In my experience the FCA is useless at regulating anybody!! So I'm not getting too excited!! They also have a habit of keeping quiet when things start to go wrong. The excuse is usually "we didn't want to panic investors". Of course it's too late for investors to pull out by then. And don't get me started on the 'Financial Ombudsman'!!!!!

What the man said, but at least the platforms are recognising that they cannot be the only one to fail and not get full authorisation and that is why saving stream on making a number of crucial changes to how they operate in March. My information tells me that they have been given a list of things they have to change by the FCA and then they will be re inspected in the spring and if they have made the required changes they will get the full authorisation. If it makes platforms brush up on good practice and stop being crafty then it has achieved something but yes you are right the FCA is like an old lady who has had 20 teeth extractions.

Sorry. Doubled up on my post and don't know how to delete!! There's a "cog" icon in the top right hand corner of every post with a drop down. There should be an option there to delete your post (and you shouldn't see it on other peoples' posts). RM
