It seems that in the ISA no interest will be paid on uninvested funds, unlike the classic investment. In the following thread posters mention money not invested for several months. There seems to be no way of telling how long the queue is or how long it will take to get invested or whether the ISA scheme will have priority over the classic for new loans. All very unsatisfactory Landbay

All very unsatisfactory Landbay Interestingly 4thway have just ranked this as the best of a limited field but their focus on bad debt risk hasnt taken into account that there is no risk if the cash is still cash several months down the line. So no losses, but no return. Seems to defeat the point of an IFISA somewhat IMHO

And the headline statement: 'A Landbay ISA investment is the same as a Classic investment with a tax‐free wrapper.' is patently untrue if my post two up is correct.

Hi Unfortunately we are not able to pay cashback on ISA investments for tax reasons. Please see our FAQs for further information. Best wishes Landbay I am glad that I did not chose to open the Landbay ISA, I wonder how many unhappy investors you currently have with this. As you need to invest at least £5,000 to open the ISA that is a lot of money earning no interest for an undisclosed period of time. I also bet most people were not aware of that when signing up for it.
