I am hoping the new tax statement will not be released until after 5 April so that any corrections needed will have to appear on the 2017/18 statement, saving me the hasstle of trying to go to HMRC and change my 2016/17 return.

account history button print tax statement Thank you! I found my Account History on the drop down by my name (in case anyone else has lost it!). ablrate, I note the statement: "Please note that the current tax statement does not include Instant Returns, Premiums, Discounts or accrued interest paid. This will be included on the next update of the statement software." When do you anticipate the software to be updated?

IFISA tax statement? While in my ISA account and counting all the earnings, I thought I would try the 'print tax statement' button. It does exactly the same as if it were a normal account, tells you what to report to HMRC and says nothing about being a tax free account. Needs fixing ablrate , in case someone declares it. I hope the platform does not report it to HMRC, as tax to be paid.

As far as I can see, nothing has changed with the tax statements since this: ablrate, I note the statement: "Please note that the current tax statement does not include Instant Returns, Premiums, Discounts or accrued interest paid. This will be included on the next update of the statement software." When do you anticipate the software to be updated? and this: While in my ISA account and counting all the earnings, I thought I would try the 'print tax statement' button. It does exactly the same as if it were a normal account, tells you what to report to HMRC and says nothing about being a tax free account. Needs fixing ablrate , in case someone declares it. I hope the platform does not report it to HMRC, as tax to be paid. Or am I missing something?

I did raise the question of tax statements on ISA accounts again recently and ablrate accepted it as a job to be done. Not done yet, but I would rather the time was spent of loan management, if there is a choice.

ISA no need for any tax statements Quite right. The task is to remove them - as confusing at best.

No problem with retaining the information, but at the moment there is no difference from the report for a taxable account - it tells you what to report! I used to think that Ablrate lenders were bright enough to spot that one, but nowadays I'm not so sure (I mean other than forum members and readers of course - always on the ball).

This will be changed on the new platform. The returns will be able to be analysed on a specific page for each account, so the tax statement for the IFISA account will go, but still be available on the standard account.
