I got this message from Twino when I asked about the auto invest not doing anything, even when there are loans available:
Auto-Invest processes loans roughly every three hours and the whole process – to go through all the portfolios in the portfolio queue – takes about an hour, as there are a lot of active portfolios.
If you see loans you are interested in, it will be faster to invest manually or with the Portfolio Builder (when you go to the “Invest” page and invest into multiple loans with one click, without saving the settings as Auto-Invest – then your funds will be invested immediately). That’s because Auto-Invest portfolios create a queue and invest accordingly, which is also why it can take a bit of time until your portfolio reaches its turn and investments are made, as currently the demand exceeds the supply.
Also, note that updating a portfolio moves it to the end of the portfolio queue again.
I made my Twino account (100 euro to try it out) about 4 days ago and turned on auto invest. The first 3 days it did nothing, so I manually invested in some loans when I saw them. Then last night it suddenly found loans and invested in them. I sold all of them again to invest in better loans manually. Auto invest seems to be very inefficient at the moment.
