Just received 4 "Please resolve negative balance" emails at 10:57, 10:57, 11:03, 11:05
I'm just waiting for some loan parts to sell, but they are taking longer to sell because of the SS c*ck ups.

What c*ck ups are those? That is a very aggressive number of chasemails from SS, but you should never assume that you will definitely be able to sell loan parts to cover a negative balance, especially when a big loan has hit the market which I assume you pre-funded far in excess of what you actually wanted.

lendinglawyer is absolutely right. You can't expect to leave a negative balance because you haven't sold something else. All of us, unless very new to SS should know that the sm tends to swing from feast to famine. Sometimes it is stagnant. Anyway, hopefully you have sold your bits now.

I recommend you change your title - it is misleading You really shouldn't rely on the SM to balance your account. TBH, this looks to be your fault, not SS...

I gave the benefit of doubt that potential defamation related to problems depositing to clear their account; if it's because a lender left themselves naked on the SM they should not try to dress up not having the funds to cover their loan requests.
I remember trying to game Windy and a naughty 5 figure allocation saw various current accounts raided - Bidder Beware.

I suspect they have had a hold on these being sent until the banking issue has been resolved. That hold has been lifted so anyone still in arrears has had the relevant emails for the last 4 days but anyone who has since resolved the negatives was taken off the list so didnt get the contents of the queue.

Although it must be admitted that SS's bulk-emailing system is not of the smartest - I frequently get 1-3 (roll a die) copies of the same email when one is expected. Used to be 0-3, but 0 hasn't happened for a while.
