Thoughts people? I might have a wee dip into this one, rather than a full swim. Would property in this street/area have increased from £15K to c£55K in 14 years? Not unreasonable I'd have thought. Many a time I really wish I knew more about property and had built up years of relevant experience which I could draw on and make informed decisions.  |

I had a look at this one and decided against, but it was a close call.
I noted in the valuation that a couple of very similar properties nearby had sold at auction for about 40k , and just decided that there is hopefully rather safer bets to be found elsewhere.
On the plus side it looks good that the borrower has used FS before without any problem arising.

Back for another renewal at 5pm.
The previous convenience store tenant of the retail unit has probably moved on, it looks as if it is reverting back to being an off licence. New licencing records at the council dated June 2019, new limited company in the names of the licensors incorporated earlier this year. Links on DDC for those with access.
