Further to my last, and in fairness to Lendy, my Mother DID receive an immediate automated reply - promising a reply within 5 working days.
As I considered Monday to Friday to be 5 working days, I imagined this promise (at least) would be honoured.
Obviously I was mistaken !
Can anyone suggest a better way of getting Lendy to provide reasonable customer service - please ?

I have £2.5 Million invested in Saving Stream... Oh man, I do hope this is part of a much larger diversified investment portfolio.

...Too scared to suggest FCA! Understandably. In fact, I'm surprised the auto-censor hasn't been primed to reject the acronym. Just like WT F. (Not that Lendy provides Wind Turbine Funding yet, but you never know.)

I can't even find this referral program and I wouldn't use it if I did, but I'm wondering how much it was worth for an investor with 2.5 Million on SS alone to be bothering with it?

if you had a lot of rich mates and got 1% of their deposits, it could very well be worth it if they were gullible enough induced to give it a go. 1 percent was it? I never even saw it and still can't see it now. Anyway, I still regard recommending a place like this to be akin to selling a used car to a friend, and a great way to lose a friend. Not saying it is going to break down, but that's what'll happen if it does.

1 percent was it? I never even saw it and still can't see it now. The old referral scheme is buried in the FAQ section here: Do-you-reward-referralsThe referrer gets 1% of the initial investment. It worked when I used it a couple of years ago. I did need to chase for the 1% after the three months.

Just received £150 and a rather brief note from Tim - after I sent a third email early this morning !
Trust the new 'Refer-a-Friend' Scheme will be more reliable and automatic - yeah !!?
However, guess the old scheme IS still operating at the moment.
I had helped my Mum put her £15k into over 20+ different loans.
All the best - Happy Tuesday !

I've referred 3 people who have signed up but I've never received a referral bonus without chasing it first.

Regardless of the details I'm not sure I'd want to provide that personal recommendation right now. I'd need to see consistently higher rates and a more liquid SM before sticking my neck on the line. 5% isn't worth a friendship or relationship if things get worse.
