Wow - that went for more than I thought it would with the overages etc. Potentially good news for capital repayment (subject to sellers fees, receivers etc)

Yes, 20 min dogfight between 3 bidders each raising the stakes by a massive £1k a time and when the bell rang No1 triumphed.

any idea when we are likely to see any money from this? roughly.... Straight answer is no. Normally you would expect the purchase to complete within a month of the auction but depends on the sales contract. After that the receivers will need to finalise their accounts before sending the money to MT and then Moorfields/MT will need to calculate the distributions, sign it off with lawyers, & possibly FCA, before paying it out.

This is certainly dragging out.

And still no signs of OUR money!!!!! Based on the latest admin report there are two scenarios The administrators have not received the funds from the receivers for some reason. This seems likely as the sums reported as being held on trust are insufficient to reflect the likely return from this loan. Unfortunately as it is a loan to an individual there is no access to any public reports to verify. The administrators are not releasing funds pending the directions hearing on allocation of costs due to MT. This is indicated in the report but not stated explicitly

It is such a shame that this should have been done by Moneything and the administrators.

Was the court due to review this in February or have I missed something?

Was the court due to review this in February or have I missed something? The fees case was in Feb ...now waiting for the new conflict administrator to negotiate MT fees then payouts should be made.

Has anyone got news on when our money will be repaid to us. I've asked in emails without any response. I suppose the longer they keep it, the more fees that the Moneything directors get.
