I asked FS if they had completed (Thursday 1630) and guess what they have no information
and hope to do an update soon - £2m quid loan which is over 1 month late and they don't have any information! I was then told they could see progress and I said, very politely, well I can't see any progress so what progress are we talking about. And then guess what - the loan supervisor was in a meeting but will do an update soon...
The number of times we are told people are in a meeting makes me a tad suspicious although the loan supervisors clearly aren't supervising their loans paid for with OUR money. I don't believe this twaddle for one minute and I am not going to waste any more of my time speaking with customer service as constantly being treated as a complete and gullible idiot is really starting to annoy me and I try never to get annoyed...

Love a job with this mob, in meetings all the time, no wonder nothing ever gets done
Loan supervisor is in a meeting to decide when the next meeting is........................pathetic comes to mind

22nd of June and no update confirming exchange of contracts. One time wasting buyer is unfortunate, two is a pattern.
Unless the borrower is willing to stump up interest to renew, it's time for FS to start repossession proceedings in order to protect lenders.

"we have been speaking with the borrower over the weekend and would expect to be able to update the loan page before the end of this week once we gain full information. Unfortunately I do not have confirmation myself if the exchange happened as the person in charge of this loan is currently out of the office"

We were told this WOULD complete on 1st or 8th June and it looks to me as if exchange has not happend - "quelle surprise" as we say in Burnley. All the staff seem to do is attend meetings - what do they do - dream up new excuses all day long?
There are 2 people with £300K in this one plus my nibble - looks to me as if FS have been rolled over yet again.

Yep. what a setup, just to delay the deal so they can get the funds sorted out. I hope that's the case, basically, I don't care who pays but wish FS would push it through.

If the new purchasers could not raise the funds why do they not try Friendly Funding Secure?
I am sure they would have the audacity to put it on the platform
The updates on not just this loan, but many others are truly nonsensical

I am really annoyed by this fiasco - clearly this developer is messing FS (with our money) around. One minute is it "all systems go", then the solicitor had a family bereavement and now the original purchasers were off but are now back on! I don't buy this original exchange but wish to delay completion rubbish. FS please stop treating us as complete idiots - are you saying that the original purchasers have exchanged in the last 2 working days - well how did they know the other purchasers did not exchange as anticipated? I just hope that FS have concrete proof that exchange has taken place as I get the slight impression that this applicant is not being exactly honest. This applicant strikes me as playing for time whilst he is frantically trying to raise funds- as to whether there is a cosy ring with him and purchasers in it I could not possibly comment! Yes just default the damn building! I don't see why this should interfere with the alleged sale.
