There is a company called Lendy
But some of its loans are quite bendy,
Interest rates were cut and risks they were raised
But investors didn't care - their eyes were all glazed,
Cash poured in and the business did grow
The Directors' wallet's got so fat that their pockets hung low,
A spin doctor was appointed to sweeten the bad news
But now to exit there are very long queues

The FCA wouldn’t sway
For approval their name couldn’t stay
So they changed it to Lendy
Well it sounded quite friendly
And the Saving Stream name went away.

And it was clever brand integration
That led to the name change inspiration -
So transparent communications may
Be seen to have improved sweet fca.

When doing a little rebranding To find a good name is demanding But they came up with Lendy It's not cool or trendy Its creator deserves reprimanding

So then we began to see interest rates fall
But he prefers to communicate one-to-one rather than post on the forum for us all!
Why not just rebrand to 'Bridging stream' then we could abbreviate to BS 🤣

Until we were stopped by the FCA team
They thought it was misleading
If only they knew what was breeding
So we rebranded to lendy
Its apparently more friendly
and now our name does not include saving
the FCA don’t care how we are behaving

It appears that GeorgeT has changed his signature to 'The Bard...'. Should we expect some theatrical iambic pentameter imminently?
We could probably definitely do with some 'Bard quality' input here. Although, if I recall correctly, GeorgeT 's previous signature bore a striking resemblance to the OP from vmail .

Let me try and sum up the weekend's events in prose. I hope it passes the 'Bard quality' test.
On April the first, Lendy paid us our interest
And they gave us too much - but it was not in jest,
They made a mistake and got it all wrong
Then changed our accounts wthout so much as a song,
Some people were cross they had screwed up so bad
Others stayed calmer but were left feeling sad,
Transaction records did change as if by a magic wand
It seemed like the audit trails were thrown in a pond,
Experts were shocked they would do it this way
Without writing first to give us their say,
Lendy blamed it on their shiny new website
No suggestion at all they'd been out on a heavy night,
Friday night boozing in Britain is definitely not fake
Was the Saturday interest done with a very bad headache?
The high life they live with helicopters and cocktails
And when the sea's calm they are on boats with sails,
Now history's been changed they have all gone quiet
Perhaps learning their lesson on an alcohol free diet,
Even Paul from PR has stopped with his penmanship ...
Are there red faces at Lendy? Is Tim cracking his whip?
