£21.9 million in interest paid to investors to date after administration error linked to the new website launch. Agree- is this the amount paying us all loans at 12℅ whoooooopsy April fools we made a mistake, or at the amount we got after the books were "corrected" surprise you have a negative balance?

Small things, like knowing whether or not a borrower is in interest arrears, and when a loan is in default. We've seen that already, and very welcome it is too. Maybe one day we'll be able to look back and see a trail of consistently accurate loan descriptions. We might also get some transparency on the PF. I got a PM from paul re the OP, I was asked to contact customer services. Read into that what you like. The PF data should be available on their website for everyone to see. Who knows if their is a pound in the PF or £5m The PF paying out is discretionary so it doesn't mean a thing if it has £5billion in it and therefore it doesn't matter what is in it.
Don't let there being a PF trick you into to thinking that your money is covered in any way what so ever.

A lot of interest has been paid to me and I am reaching the enviable position of being a guaranteed winner here with Lendy.
Because of my steady reduction in the size of my investment here and the fact I have amassed over 3 years of interest at 12% I am in the position that my total interest earned is not now that much lower than my total currently invested. In fact if I hold my nerve for another 3 months I will just about break even and then it could be argued I am investing on a risk-free basis and can throw caution to the wind.
I thank Lendy and I hope they thank me back for helping to make it all happen when it was all about a handful of boats on the Isle of Wight.
I would also add that when I extend my tax statement back to the start I have a very healthy 3 figure sum showing under other income at the bottom under the title total cashback. Yes folks in the first year there was often 1% cashback in addition to the 12%.
In the early days a friendly chat on the phone with Tim or Liam was always available whereas today you are lucky to even get a reply from your email. But that's the way it goes folks because the business has been a massive success and I am very glad about that.

It's good to read an appraisal such as this. They are few and far between on the forum.
I've only been investing in P2P for six months but I like LfSS - I hope it's as good to me as it has been to you.
EDIT -Crossed with GeorgeT's edit and mikes1531' reply.

" ................................ when it was all about a handful of boats on the Isle of Wight."
Ah yes, the Boaty Days. Fond memories of the Super Yacht too, I vaguely recall a rather low and enticing LTV on that one, but in hindsight I have/had no idea if the "Valuation" was anywhere near accurate!

Fond memories of the Super Yacht too, I vaguely recall a rather low and enticing LTV on that one, but in hindsight I have/had no idea if the "Valuation" was anywhere near accurate! Snap. I know a bit about property but I know zero about boats. I heard about SS and I looked at their new website and I was intrigued. It all sounded too good to be true but there was a telephone number so I rang it up and expressed my concerns and asked a hatful of questions and must have been on the phone for quite a long time. To this day I am unsure if I was speaking to Tim or Liam but whoever it was was exceptionally charming and helpful and answered all my questions and reassured me on everything to the extent that I invested a few thousand pounds with much trepidation. After that I had other questions and I rang up a few more times and I apologized for being such a pain and the man said to me it's no problem at all call up whenever you like. A lot of personal trust was built up in those early days and after receiving my first interest payment as promised I was encouraged and confident enough to steadily increase my investments. All this despite the fact that I didn't have a clue whether a valuation of a yacht was anywhere near accurate at all.

SS like all sites has it good points and it bad points, but when we leave the relative good times that we are in now and there is a down turn in the economy out of all the sites I invest in SS will be hit the worst and I doubt it will survive. I fully expect some of the loans I am in to be run down by a third party adminstrator. I am well aware of the risks and these are my high risk investors but when you read a lot of posts on here people do not fully understand the risk and are happy to toe the SS party line as up until recently they have had the false sense of security in the secondary market.
Although I should also add that due to loan repayments and poor quality newer loans I am curreny like georget. I have earned more in interest then I currenlty have invested.
