And apparently continuing to fall, albeit by smaller amounts. May I ask: how on earth did you spot that the post count was dropping ?
Anyway, unless we have a board mod/admin gone 'postal' its not due to back dated moderation. As to the actual cause, no idea right now.
Maybe the reduction in post count is simply "in sympathy" with reduction in mean rates on the platform ?

The only thing I can suggest is that it might be someone deleting their posts, unless something strange is happening with ProBoards. Have you noticed whether or which threads might have been affected?

Maybe someone flounced off, and deleted their posts as they went? Just guessing .. haven't seen any gaping holes, so maybe it was someone who was pretty much surplus to requirements. 8>.

It appears that most if not all the fall in post counts late evening on 20th April was caused by a single reasonably prolific poster deleting almost all their posts.
I don't believe this is related to any bugs in the proboards software.
