Does anyone have an alternative interpretation of this data? That T1 lenders haven't notified AC of their intentions. They will wait until T2 draws down and T1 is repaid, then buy T2 on the AM. That's what I'm doing, less hassle and keeps my options open.
That's certainly a possibility, but I was thinking that if a T1 lender wanted to participate in T2 they'd prefer to let their investment roll over because it would be seamless. If the underwriter units didn't appear promptly on the Aftermarket, the investor would be left with a lump of cash sitting in their account earning nothing while waiting for the underwriters to put their units up for sale. Perhaps that's not a significant risk, but we have seen it happen on some loans. And perhaps some T1 investors simply are keeping their options open by waiting until the auction is nearly over before declaring their intention. Finally, I suppose there's a chance that some investors might have decided to sit and watch in the hope that AC would struggle to arrange underwriting and persuade the borrower that it was necessary to offer a higher interest rate in order to ensure that T2 would be funded successfully.

I don't have a shadow bid facility which would be needed to roll over the original loan. I only have a small investment in this loan so it would be rather pointless arranging shadow bidding when the system is about to change anyway. I will decide whether to buy on the aftermarket when T1 is repaid. Maybe there are many others doing the same.

It's not clear to me what's happening right now with South Coast Plumbing & Mech. Serv. Loan T2 wrt calling in shad-bids; the Q&A implies it's been called. I'm rolling only some of my money in T1 into T2 so maybe I wouldn't have received that email. Has anyone had the email?
The Q&A from 5/11 says

The Q&A from 5/11 says Yes, you would imagine that the next 2-3 days from Wednesday 5th would be Friday 7th or Monday 10th - so it's still possible that the shadow/uwriter call goes out on Monday "with a view to" drawing down on Tuesday which I would still call "early next week". However, as I haven't had that email and it's taking a while at the moment for everyone to get their funds organised then I'd expect that we are looking at the end of next week (14th) or the start of the week after.

No email yet. I wish they'd get on with it. My settlement money has been waiting in my cash account for several days earning zilch.

Ton ⓉⓞⓃ: It seems reasonable to me that you wouldn't receive an email because you don't need to do anything. The only consequences for you of the timing of the T2 drawdown are that the excess that you're not reinvesting won't be available until it happens, and that the interest you're earning on the amount you're rolling forward won't increase to 12% until drawdown.

Then AC can sort it out on the day of draw-down. This has the advantage of earning interest whilst waiting for draw-down. Unfortunately... There's no T1 available to buy at the moment.

(the red bit is my edit ) Ah, I think that was mine that you got, don't worry I don't want it back or anything... I intentionally sold it in three bunches at ~10am, time am
| no of buyers
| chunk size
| 9.56 | 4 | 47.25 | 9.57 | 4 | 50 | 10.01 | 3 | 65.75 |
I told someone what I was doing but for some reason my head got everything wrong. So there's was four people who wanted T1 that dropped to just three. (I said something completely different) Tho' after selling it raised my target again, so we're maybe back to four buyers again.

I told someone what I was doing but for some reason my head got everything wrong. So there's was four people who wanted T1 that dropped to just three. (I said something completely different) Tho' after selling it raised my target again, so we're maybe back to four buyers again. I had a bit of cash in my account last night. It disappeared at 0845 today when I picked up some T1. Two minutes later, lightning struck and I sold £100 of Kent. (Maybe the purchaser was re-deploying the proceeds of their T1 sale.) So when Ton ⓉⓞⓃ's sales came along, I bought £47.25 at 0956, £50 at 0957, and £2.75 at 1001 as my account ran out of money again. The implication is that if Ton had tried another sale there would have been only two buyers with any money left -- or maybe even less if someone else had run out of spare cash or had reached their target. No doubt the number of potential buyers is ever-changing as investors adjust targets and accounts run out of money or are replenished. I sold some bits after lunch to replenish my cash supply. At 1703 I picked up a small bit of Car************ WT, and at 1719 another bit of T1 came available and used up the rest of my cash. I've raised a bit more cash since, and wonder what I'll pick up next. I must say, though, that the new AC system seems to be working very well for increasing one's holdings in a diversified way. Well done, chris!

Just put my last £100 up for sale. Don't all rush at once.
