(Mod hat on) Welcome aboard lonerifle , I'm glad we're able to rescue you (and FCViz) from the sinking ship! I've stickied this thread so that it stays at the top of the Flunked Communications board. Going forward, I suggest you announce new FCViz updates as new posts in this thread (so they're flagged as New) whilst editing your opening post as appropriate so that it remains the up-to-date starting point for new FCViz users. Incidentally, forum members can be tagged by name on here either by clicking the "Insert User Link" button or else simply adding an "@" before their username.

Just to add that 'username' is not necessarily what displays (though it may be), so check (hover over) if necessary before typing manually! And yes, welcome aboard.

Hi Lonerifle
I downloaded PCViz some months ago and it worked really well. Thanks for creating such a useful tool. However, it recently stopped working. I deleted it and re-added it to Chrome but it still doesn't show the graphs etc...
Is there anything I can do to make it work? I am a newbie and maybe this is a support question I could have asked you on Github but I am not a member....
Thanks!
G

G Hello, would you be able to point out which graphs are not working anymore, with screenshots where possible? I'm aware the property development loan previews in loan requests no longer render properly, but have not gotten the time to look at that.

Hi,thank you for replying. It's all graphs and functionalities, so maybe it's the extension itself that my computer has a problem with. I don't have any property development loans... I have tried to insert a screenshot below but it's too small.. To give you an idea, when I hover over e.g. download "repayment schedule (graph)" nothing happens. I used to be able to see the graph. When I hover over "next payment" nothing happens, while I used to see an image with all the payments etc... Thank you in advance for your assistance! G

Hi lonerifle, I'm not seeing anything happen recently when I click the (graph) link next to Download repayment schedule in the Summary page. Perhaps it's broken?

so I've had a look...... This appears to be working as of right now. Could you perhaps press ctrl-shift-i (or alt-option-i if you're on a mac), press the network tab, then click the graph link and tell me what you see?

Hi Lonerifle
I have pressed ctrl-shirt-i, pressed the network tab, clicked the graph and the "waterfall" green line stalled after 4.31 ms. In the console area i can see a lot of writing in red saying "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()"; then "Uncaught DOMException: Blocked a frame with origin "https://www.fundingcircle.com" from accessing a cross-origin frame"
Thanks for your help!

This is what I get in the console (but no repayment graph). Okay, so if there isn't anything untoward in network transfers FC did not shift their links around as is their usual habit. There might be something in the repayments file itself that is probably causing the graph rendering to choke. The best way I can think of investigating further would be for those affected to send your repayment files over to me via private message. Be mindful that this means I will be able to see what you have in your portfolio, so change the loan and loan part ids and any descriptive names if that is the sort of thing you are not comfortable sharing with me =)

Hi all, first post here. Lonerifle: first, thank you for FCViz, I was so frustrated by FC's interface before. I still am but that isn't your fault for making it better! the simple-income-forecast (sif) graph [1] doesn't work for me either, you're welcome to mine and I can anonymise it easily but I thought some stats might help if other people chimed in. I have just over 8k records in my sif csv and I've been using FC for less than 2 months (114 businesses (174 loan parts)) and I'm wondering if it isn't the number of records that is causing the problem. The number of records could be lots of loans OR few loans split into lots of loan parts vs the 33 businesses / 33 loan parts in your e.g (that may be test data, of course) While I've been figuring out how to deal with FC silliness with joined up thinking I've been d/l all of the csv files multiple times per day quite often and haven't found a problem with getting the files themselves. I also notice you're using ABP as I had tried turning that off to see if it was interfering with FCViz. I got different but not dissimilar results for the ctrl-shift-i / network test as others, it just seemed to stop after a while. [1] now I've seen yours in this thread I realise I've actually made something similar for my own use

Hello william0101, your csvs will be helpful in going some way to understand the issue, so if you could send it to me via Dropbox or etc (or make a GitHub gist), I will be able to troubleshoot further. Thanks for the pointers about ABP.. I'll see what happens when I turn that off.
