ablrate FAQ could do with an update no explanation of flexible ISA, can you transfer funds to Standard account? no reference to transfers out fees probably need some reference to rules on ISA transfer in times (15 days cash/ 30 days S&S) to avoid 'where's my transfer' queries out of date reference to LISA & not included in types of ISA for one of each type. (pedantic)

That all seems to work pretty well: set up, paid in, invested in 5 mins. I don't understand why I need a separate email address for my IFISA but just went along with it.
One suggestion: maybe make the ISA account page a different colour from the standard account, so people don't pay into/trade on the wrong a/c by mistake. There's a small alert right at the top but it's easy to miss (and it disappears when you scroll down).

Cannot deposit funds. It says "Invalid Cardholder's email address" I am using the same email as I did to create the ISA account (as per the welcome email). A Crazy. The system insisted that I use a different emaill address to register for the ISA account, even though I was logged in, but then refused to accpet that new emaill address for a payment. Used my normal address and the payment went through. Hmm.. thank you for reporting.. will look into that in the morning.

Good point - will update that thanks.. changed

Oh yuck - do we really need a second email address? Sounds to me like it wasn't thought through properly

Oh yuck - do we really need a second email address? Sounds to me like it wasn't thought through properly If you can't be bothered to set-up a separate email account and have a gmail account, you can make simple variations to your email address that which automatically connect to and re-direct to your gmail account without any set-up. The first way is just use an "+" annotation to create a different gmail address. The + can be put at the start or end of your main address prior to the @ and can be proceeded or succeeded by any text. Eg if your email address is john@gmail.com, then emails to john+peter@gmail.com, peter+john@gmail.com will automatically go to your account. I normally just use +1, +2, etc or the website name, eg myname+ablrate@gmail.com. All emails will automatically go to your Gmail account. Alternatively, as Gmail does not recognise dots within Gmail addresses, just insert dots into your address, eg if your gmail address is johnsmith@gmail.com, any emails to john.smith@gmail.com etc will automatically be received into your email account. The only potential issue of using an existing account with a substitute address is that you can't send emails addressed from the substitute address - could be a problem if support emails are tracked/linked to your email address (there is probably a easy way to spoof your address but I've never needed to do this to date).

Anyone else see 1000076 listed at 75% for a few seconds? A mistake quickly rectified or someone boosting the value of their shiny brand new ABL IFISA? I know which I'd bet on. This happened on FS until discounts/premia were restricted from 4% down to 1% and just think, the range on ABL is from 75% to 125%! I wonder how many iterations starting at the initial £20k it would take to reach an IFISA millionaire I'd of pounced if it wasn't for this... p2pindependentforum.com/post/203991/thread

I'm not sure if it was someone attempting an under par transfer, but given it was only for £33.44 and was displayed for a while whilst I blinked and tried to to think of the catch! - I think it was probably just a fat finger sell........ I thought there was automatic matching of bid and offers, but obviously not.

Open an IFISA option now available on the website. Says "An initial subscription must be of at least £2,000." That is for Transfers in.. I will check the FAQ. Edit : I did see that in the terms. I will have that changed as we don't have a restriction in place in the code. Thanks for pointing that out. Regards Ablrate According to the FAQ, the transfer in minimum is £2,500

You could see how someone could transpose the amount and price or even transposing digits in the price but none of these fits this trade. No automatic matching, it's quite common to see the same bid & offer price.

ablrate : if I open an IFISA, and transfer in last years Cash ISA, can I then withdraw cash until there are investments available, at which point I can pay it back in, as long as it's still in this tax year? Apologies if I've missed this is in your terms somewhere, or is standard for a flexible IFISA(?). Thought it easier just to ask the organ grinder! Can you also clarify / confirmj please, there's a £100 fee for transferring the IFISA out? Thanks

ablrate might need to add a note somewhere that flipping loan parts between accounts may be considered trading by HMRC and would result in the loss of the tax exemption from the ISA, otherwise someone's going to think they have come up with a clever weez to boost their ISA value and get a nasty shock. Removed as based on duff info apparently. Doesnt seem to be any numeration of current allowance available, previous year ISA investment and flexible ISA amount that can be replaced on ISA dashboard which there needs to be. (there is a ridiculously small popup link under the deposit by card button which appears to show subscription amount ... though oddly not under bank transfer ... but thats very hidden)

ablrate, further to the concerns above - Proplend bar the Trading of the same loan parts from their standard to isa account, Landlordinvest manually approve all trades and FS had to overhaul their premium/discount range (which would penalise, say, the BHs that recently paniced about their car holdings). What measures do you have in place to ensure there is no tax cheating on your platform??
