I haven't been on FS long and my first investment just reached its end date (the loan is 1541454825 listed with an end date of 28th April 2017). I expected to receive my capital back on the 28th, but that hasn't happened and there have been no updates on the loan. I have not selected to renew. It is not listed as a renewal for new investors to invest in. Can someone explain briefly how it works and why my expectation was wrong? Yes of course... You get drawn in by the FS spin.... You invest.... your investment does not pay back on time.... you go through months (maybe years) of useless updates, then you los************* ..................... cannot advise you further as i am only at 2 years_ish waiting for a resolution to my first 'unredeemed' loan. edit...PS.. and i have 4 unredeemed so far. my last four.. then im out.

Yes, I'm in that one too. I was a bit surprised. It may be that they know the borrower doesn't want their bling back. FYI I just sent FS an email requesting an update (no update since 5th May). The following has just been posted: Diamond ring has been left at the auction house to sell.
It will be entered into one of their weekly auctions before the middle of June.Thanks fundingsecure. Great service late on a Saturday night. could it be coincidence that you happened to contact them just in time for their weekly "male cowpat" run that updates late loans with stock answers from the excuses list? Including neat programming that keeps investors in multi tranche loans, other than tranche 1, un/il/mis informed as fs are to damned arrogant/ lazy to update multiple loans on the same property. (Knaresxxxough). I will post elsewhere on the silly situation with the rail memorabilia loans where unnamed assets are being sold and the money is held by fs.

Indeed it could have been coincidence but I'm an optimist (I know, I know... and I can foresee the naive response!)
