If so, have you had any communication as to why this has happened a second time two months running? How do you feel about this? Duck; que the visceral comments.

They took money from my account yesterday. I've asked them for a response and I'll revert back here when they do.

They put me in to a negative balance, when my account was balanced. I telephoned them and spoke to a nice girl who admitted it didn't sound correct and would urgently get someone to look at my account....No correspondence from Lendy as of yet. I also emailed them at the same time with all the details asking for an explanation..Still waiting....I have bought and sold since, but will only pay in monies to my original balance This will leave me in a negative balance. I will do this till I get an explanation.

blink Been doing the same as you since 11th April. Have asked for my support call to get escalated, no response. Quite worrying really...not that mistakes could happen, but that no explanation is given...the explanation of DFL024 makes no sense whatsoever..this was on their website and also stated by Paul64

Just received an email from Tim, stating it was a reversal of a loan part I had not paid for. The amount is for £6.58 it is only a small amount, but I have never not paid for a load part. This explanation is even more worrying than the DFL024 explanation. I have asked for the loan part they are referring to. This email from Tim was in relation to the call I made and spoke to a lady. I also emailed them myself, but have received no reply from that one. Paul64 I hope you will look in to this as you stated, as although the amount is small, I don't like not knowing how this has occurred, and the explanation given I would like to know which load part they are referring to, as I have always paid for my loan parts.. such a strange amount also.

Ditto. The only loan part that I didn't pay for was one where the security changed and Lendy gave us an option to cancel. I had a relatively small amount invested in that loan and for only a couple of days. If you were to believe their explanation then the c.£8 they have taken out of my account would suggest that c.£800 of loans went unpaid for a full month! They have no clue about controls on client money. Very worrying.

Moto for the year is "Doing the right thing is always the right thing to do."
I spotted my interest had been over paid on the 2nd, I emailed Tim, it was corrected on the 3rd and today I had a reply saying all interest was now correct. It looks to have been a hangover from last month when the pipeline funding got mixed up and I had a manual correction done on some loans. Banks sometimes get things wrong so OK with Lendy making the odd error and long as we check and put them right no harm done.

OK I have had a more fuller explanation from Tim after I queried the first explanation. I purchased then cancelled a loan part on the Euro car Park on the same day. The day it went live.. According to Tim Lendy credited me with the whole months interest in April for a part I should have not got interest on.. They then took this back.. fine I am ok with that.. however in my transaction list it is showing as a £0.00 transaction, which Lendy had changed without informing me from the £6.58 that would have been previously there. Thus putting my account in to negative. Surely from an accounts point of view, there should be a proper transaction trail.. without me questioning Lendy as to the problem and keep sending emails I would not have known. because the transition list is wrong.. it should show cr.£6.58 on the interest payment then debit £6.58 in the transaction list to correct the error. Not just surplant £0.00 in the transaction list, which has the same effect but leaves me scratching my proverbial.
I know errors happen, but I also would like to be able to see them errors corrected in the correct way.. plus an explanation as to why it is happening at the time of the event. Or am I missing something. Tim was very helpful in his explanation which I appreciate and I have emailed him back with my concerns as outlined here.

I was given the same explanation initially, but that was not the case. I had not purchased something I had not paid for, I had two transactions on the same day, that cancelled each other out.. but they had paid interest on that part, which I had never owned. derr - it's enough to drive you to drink...!!!!
