I'd appreciate a bit of clarification here.
The email says "all existing loans will be coming to an end early and new versions of the same loans will replace them under new terms."
When I click Renew All, I don't get a tick against all my loans. I've got some existing loans I want to keep but can't get a blue tickbox showing against them.
Should it say "all existing loans under the old t&cs", rather than "all existing loans"?

We really need to be able to see that the button has, indeed, been clicked. MoneyThing , otherwise I'm going to go insane with worry. If all the loans that you hold have blue ticks next to them (other than those launched since April, being on new T&Cs already, and those "imminently repaying") then you're fully ticked

The restaurant loans that I hold (FP451 and FP452) now do have a blue tick. Don't yours? (Remember that there'll never be a tick box beside loans you DON'T hold)

I'm with GeorgeT. As a (fairly) new and (definitely) inexperienced MT user I had no idea about the old/new Ts&Cs etc. So email confused me. Chain has cleared it up now though so thanks all.

I wonder if Lendy and Funky Crispsmirk will have to do this if they want full authorisation. Repay all loans (including defaulted/RBR etc) with an offer to renew ... yeah .. right .... airborne porkies rule, OK? I sometimes wonder if Lendy believe that they are too important to be bovvered with trivia like FCA authorisation. And the entire IT team at Febrile Computing probably couldn't actually work out how to add a shiny blue "renew all" button.

Any loans you own but do not have a tick box are most likely recent loans bought under new T&C's That makes sense but MoneyThing should have stated that.

I fell there is an unfortunate muddling of the "renew" box meaning. MT seem to have dual meaning for this. eg The old definition "extend an existing loan" such as the pawn funding loans and the car finance ones and the migration to the new Ts&Cs
MT have stated that loans due to repay soon (unspecified period) and ones taken out after 24/3/17 will not have blue tick boxes
But I have RCC595 motor cruiser due to end 7/6/17 with a blue box so this suggests use of the renewal meaning (and presumably pick up new Ts&Cs at the same time) Similarly BPF 689 luton bridging due to end 14/6/17.
I can see the attraction of saving coding effort by hijacking the blue box feature for handling the new Ts&Cs issue but it does introduce confusion.
Hopefully when we get to the stage that all necessary loans are on the new terms we will be told and the blue boxes can revert to the original single meaning.

But the purpose of the tick box is identical in both scenarios. Ticking it simply means "Please roll my loan holding into any renewal loan that may be launched". The only real change is that a number of loans that didn't previously have a tick box (because no renewal was envisaged) now do.

True, but read and agreed with the new Ts&Cs then I clicked the renew all button before realising the dual purpose and selected some small asset exchange type loans that I'd decided not to renew using the original meaning. It is my own fault I suppose but it caught me out. Easy enough to fix one by one.
