These sorts of loans will come back to hurt people.
No doubt Brexit will be blamed. When FC finally take ownership of these issue it may be too late for their reputation.

Quite funny to see they have directed autobid on an all out assault against 37575 (30 bids a minute) and other loans are fairly quiet.
and now moved onto the next one.... No equal distribution at all, just sequentially churning through the remaining loans (All of which are very large but at this rate they wont take long to fill)

Some excellent comments above, my biggest concern is the issue if businesses start to struggle and there is a commencement of the domino affect. A lot of unsecured debt here and when and if losses start happening investors rates go down and they then leave. The size here will in this instance influence the p2p marketplace.

How is loan 179553 allowed to be listed? "What is the nature of the business and how will it use the loan? I need the loan for expansion of the company. Website is: http://www.w******-group.co.uk" That is the totality of information from the borrower. I've seen worse:

Greatmarko, I've never seen one as bad as that but there is no incentive for borrowers to provide details. All of these loans eventually fill. I'm pretty sure a borrower could write "I intend to run off with the money, move abroad and never make a repayment" and it would still get funded. Sadly until having little to no information means that loans do not fill, the situation is not likely to change.

I've been keeping a tally of the new users and the growth is quite rapid
01-May 60773 01-Jun 61801
So about 1000 new users per month...

The growth rate of new users has increased since July last year. Previously it was pretty constant. Here's a chart for the last couple of years with a straight line to compare against. Like all FC stats this only counts NEW users. The ones that are inactive or have left are never removed. J
