The Plymouth loan is connected (same borrower), so there is reason to expect some correlation in demand for two loans. Come Tuesday, or whenever Bolton repays, we'll find out whether this loan is genuinely unpopular, or whether there is a technical reason for it being slow to fill. I didn't expect this loan to be hugely popular, but I did expect it to go faster than it has - 20% (£300,000) in 24 hours. The summary confirms that this is the same borrower as the Plymouth loan. However, Plymouth is on the SM today and the notes for that loan (updated on 19th May) quite correctly state 'there are currently no related loans. MoneyThing is however looking at a number of other development projects with the borrower which we may look to fund on the platform'. The point I make is that investors in SM loans will be unaware of newer related loans unless older summaries are updated when the same borrower takes out a subsequent loan. New loans will refer to previous loans, MTAS prefix will be unique to this borrower.

Over 3 weeks now since this launched and only ~60% filled.
Anyone else concerned? It looked OK to me but the longer it goes unfilled the more I wonder if I've missed something?

Every day i get a bit of interest, i take a bit more of Bollington, although it may take me some time to buy it all; that is until Bolton pays up. I suspect i am not alone.

I'm in the same boat as Dave, taking nibbles every time I get a worthwhile amount of interest. Don't see anything particularly wrong with this loan but am at my max for the site until something repays.

Me too. A little more every day. I'm double exposed in Bolton so currently skint, when it repays it'll all go into Bollington.

I don't think it's a reflection on the attractiveness of the Bollington loan. It's more a case of a bridge too far for MT coming after £5m new loans in a week. The last of these, Liverpool was a particularly attractive large loan which I think we all searched down the back of our sofas to invest as much as possible. Being fully invested I can't invest in any more new loans without selling others, which isn't easy in the current environment.
Edit: It will be very interesting to see how much of the Bolton repayment tomorrow stays on the platform.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thought this looked OK
I'm close to my max exposure for a single borrower, MTAS, and getting near to where I want to be for a single loan in Bollington.
I'm expecting 3.7k back from Bolton today/tomorrow and intend to try and keep it on the platform subject to my diversification rules.
I presume there will be a development application for Bolton somewhere soon - not really looked yet to be honest.

I know it's a basic question but ...
If I buy a loan (like this one) that's not yet filled, do I start earning interest right away?

Afternoon. For your interest, I have just added three photos taken earlier on this week (6, 7 & 8 of 8). Regards, Ed.
