Joined LendInvest a few months ago. Then they moved the goalposts and now I'm no longer eligible to invest. I've since had 2 loans repaid but they're not allowing me to transfer the full amount, just the few quid interest that had been accrued. The message says you can't withdraw funds that you added by debit card within 120 days but I didn't add the funds, they're repaid investments.
I've messaged them but they've not even bothered to read the message, let alone reply. I'll have to try calling tomorrow but I wondered if anyone else had encountered this? I've got 8 more loans with them, with payback dates up to next March so bit annoyed I could be having this hassle every time. Wish I'd never bothered with them TBH.

Sounds like an unfortunate set of circumstances that perhaps were not anticipated and allowed for by their software/them. They cannot hold onto your money which you cannot invest in loans against your wishes, just to satisfy a 120 day rule now that they've changed the goalposts. That would just be asking for a formal complaint. Have patience, I'd be surprised if it didn't get resolved once they realise the trap you're caught in.

janeybeans I started to move to AblRate and FundingSecure in December as I could see the writing on the wall with LI. Last year I loved their cautious approach but now, I see double the returns with other platforms and I am happy to accept the risks. Sad but true. You will get yout money back dont' worry I doubt they have that type of problem.

Just a quick update.
I had a reply to my messages yesterday. It appears they're now cancelling all my remaining investments (even though I didn't ask for this, just to be able to withdraw the funds that were sitting there that I couldn't invest) and will transfer back the money into my bank account. I don't know whether it's just easier for them to do it like this or whether they just want shot of the small time investors (I'd only put £1k in to test the waters), I'm not sure, but at least I won't need to worry about hassles in the future.
Going to look at alternatives now.

Glad to hear janeybeans! Are you looking for safer or riskier or a % return target? There are a few threads about on here which can help. Mike
