Hi All,
I'm sorry for the confusion. The loans have 'ended' on the platform and are listed under completed loans, but they are pending re-payment.
I have just sent an email confirming that the funders have given us a long-stop date of Friday 4th August. They hope to complete before then, but we will have to wait and see. The letter I have from the funders guarantees the payment.
Kind regards
Sophie

Delay seems like an evil ploy to make me transfer more money in.

Delay seems like an evil ploy to make me transfer more money in. But it may give you the opportunity to make your "maiden" withdrawal later in the week.

Gives me another week to decide what to do with my pennies, as the loan on PM filled up rather quick after the bonus offer will have to look else where.

What would my P2P week be without some last minute drama such as this.
The email from MT sounds reassuring and I remain in calm mode.

We are advised that "delay in the transfer of the funds" ........... How many times has that been the prelude to months and months of "we have been advised... delay blah blah". Oh, sorry. This is MT - it won't happen here.

What is the penalty interest rate for failing to complete on time? Should be 1 kitkat finger per £100 per day imho

You are a gent George thank you, but I've been down the back of Lordwhitenap's favourite armchair and dug up another 20k so should be ok for Friday just in case MT dont pay up before.

This is MT - it won't happen here. Come on now, the borrower has only had 6 months to get their water fowl properly collimated .. fact that they might need actual liquid money on 31/July, to actually pay the loan off, is obviously a big surprise, like the unexpected arrival of Christmas holiday on 25th December every year seems to be for many businesses, or the fact February sometimes has only 28 days (Ah, that'll be where the 3-4 day overrun stems from then .. the 6 month extension wasn't 6*31 days after all). 8>.
