No. They posted a loss of €1.4 million for 2016. They haven't shared the report, although if you like, you can buy it from Äriregister. ariregister.rik.ee/index?lang=eng

It will be interesting to see if their blog claim to be profitable in 2017 stands up or if it is like the rest of their marketing. What has changed suddenly?

Let's do the math: -1.4 (Bondora lending business) + x ( ) =+0.3 (Bondora Group) >> X = EUR 1.7 million profit coming from which group company? Related debt recovery company, IT development, other guesses? Based on these assumptions: Rahaforrum: "They posted a loss of €1.4 million for 2016." Bondora: "Bondora Group is profitable in 2017 with the net profit of €300 000"

It will be interesting to see if their blog claim to be profitable in 2017 stands up or if it is like the rest of their marketing. What has changed suddenly? You did notice that this news was pushed only into one offsite website into an article, which looked like a bought one and didn't mention any numbers about profit besides revenue at all? It was also barely even mentioned on Bondora's own site or even the daily newsletter. Sorry for not specifying. That €1.4 mil loss is consolidated group "profit" for Bondora AS. There's no debt recovery company within the group, although Bondora does receive some income from debt collections. It's included in the €1 mil of revenue under "other" income sources with B-secure (the product for borrowers for rescheduling loans and such).

Bondora: "Bondora Group is profitable in 2017 with the net profit of €300 000" Your calculation assumes that the total profits declared for 2017 already have the loss from 2016 subtracted. I would have thought the +0.3M is the total profit over 2017, not considering any previous losses.

Just putting the link here as well, so all know what you're talking about in regards to the €300k. www.bondora.com/blog/bondora-profitable-in-2017/That is not related to previous year. Only numbers for this year. Would be interesting to see where that €7 mil revenue is going to come from. In 2016 majority of revenue growth came from essentially doubling the fees for borrowers (and debt collection I guess?). This year the first 6 months have been higher in originations (~45%) than last year's first 6 months, but the growth seems to have halted and the first 6 months were considerably lower in originations than last 6 months. If you compare first 6 months of this year to last 6 months of last year, then there's almost no growth. We'll see.

Bondora has just published their financial statements. Few findings: - EUR 4 m total revenues of which "Other" comprises EUR 1 m. - "Other" revenue comprises revenue from services related to lending and debt recovery services. Over the year increased by 126% - Debt recovery expenses - EUR 0.2 m - Bondora Servicer OÜ (group company) is engaged in debt handling.
Bondora, can you provide the answers to the following: - Percentage (by total sum) of debt collection managed via subsidiary/in-house in 2017? - Has there been a shift towards subsidiary/in-house debt management in 2017?
Thanks!

I wonder if Bondora Servicer OÜ is another name for DCA2 which seems to take over a third of my debt recoveries.

I wonder if Bondora Servicer OÜ is another name for DCA2 which seems to take over a third of my debt recoveries. That could have criminal consequences.. If Bondora changed retroactively their terms just to have "separate" company acting like (independent) DCA. To get more revenues from existing customers through this new company.
